A Japanese company called Strike Pro had a bait called the Bubba that a handful of Texas anglers got their hands on and started catching good fish on them. They were super hard to get so Casey came out with his version. Strike King worked with Strike Pro so they could offer the Bubba to the public at a bigger scale. Todd Castledine kinda lays it all out on his UA-cam channel.
The Little John is hands down my go-to Crankbait. I fished several tournaments on LOZ and Table Rock and crushed the smallies, spots, and largemouth using it. I made all of my friends a believer in using it for sure!
I can see the Evergreen ES-Flat being a good glidebait since its not as erratic and has a certain sink to it I can see a countdown method site fishing bass letting it sink in close to their face if that don't get em then one slow reel stop and repeat making it look like a dying bait fish I think will work real good with that glidebait
Just watched your cashion rod tour and I will be ordering my JC rods for the first time this year. Can't wait to get em, USA. Also love the tackle test as well. Good luck this season.
Great tackle test video, I almost pulled the trigger in that es flat a while ago but went with a gancraft instead for a little more $. Glad I did cause the balance thing probly would have bugged me since I never straight retrieve glides. Thanks man
@@JohnCrews Thanks so much for the quick reply!! Being a PATRIOT it so sad and a struggle to find things made in america!! It is only going to get worse! Thanks to one of your videos, I am now buying cashion rods!!
Have ton of your cranks john, the cellmate color works best for me. Picked up one little john 45 but never threw it because prefer bait casters, but will try it now you say can use them. Question is I smash em on little john MD but I never Feel bottom. My lake is 14 ft max but I fish it alot in 7 foot. Tried 10 and 12 lb floro and mono. Lake is flat and desert dirt bottom , it's a HOA private lake. I was using powell crankbait rod, then thought maybe rod not sensitive to feel bottom, so purchased a cashion ck crank rod 7.3. Any help would be great.
Yes! Please show how you modify the S Waver!
Ha!
@@JohnCrews Sounds like a good video idea 😉

Awesome. Thanks for the low down!

Thanks Spencer. You’ll love the rod
That micro dd is badass
Do they come in all the little John colors?
I caught my pb smallie 4-11 on your dd 70 . I love your lures.
This will be the year of the re-vamp of the Strike Pro Bubba..Step Billin

They got them in so they should be on their site very soon!!
@@JohnCrews They went up! Placed an order for a few to check out and then I'll prob scoop up all of the colors. Thanks.
I'm a older guy, never been much on social media, you tube but I enjoy your videos.. Could you tell me where the spro baits are manufactured??
Thanks, John. SPRO baits are made in a factory near Hong Kong.

The MD hunts on the bottom so unless it’s rock, you might not feel the bottom. Great to hear it smashes them 👊🏼
Where can you find a evergreen es flat? I have been looking but no luck.
👍🏼
Can’t find the micro dd anywhere
They just got in so SPRO will have them on their site any day
I think SPRO crankbait colors are to bright, need more natural colors
Thanks for letting me know
How deep does it go?
👀 Micro DD..
Let me send you a box and go test em
Oh they’ve been tested. 😂😂👊🏼
HONESTLY THINK THE ES FLAT IS ONE OF THE BEST GLIDES
Rapala team esko? Tackle test 14.
What? I’ve never seen it until I just looked it up. Thanks for the tip!
@@JohnCrews They say it's for trout, I say it's for bass.
The whole knock off argument is a joke. Businesses in any market make the same things. Its up to the consumer to pick the best version.
Good point. Just not my thing.
