...debatable, I actually like how it added some of the actual instruments from in game as well as the different color power instruments every time you grab and fuse one
But this is remix with addon chip that was in Konami game cartridges, it added 2 square waves and 1 sawtooth

nah ultimate still has a ton of bugs on every platform, especially switch, people shown off the seizure glitches on real hardware

@@sillyali those are caused by jumping into hub worlds and backing out of them immediately. It also can cause Sonic’ model to glitch out.
Wouldn't be surprised if Eggman himself ran Sega and kept releasing shitty, rushed Sonic content to tarnish his arch nemesis's good reputation, or what's left of it. I mean it's fucking working, it's his best plan yet.
funny thing is that yuzu isn't even causing half of the problems (but that doesnt mean yuzu specific glitches can't happen)
A part of me would've loved if the music went into a 16-bit rendition whilst you were boosting. A small touch which would've sounded way past cool.
Quite surprised with how this sounded in 8-bit, and it sounds far more wild than the original, and for that regardless I love it.
Outstanding work, but really, do you ever disappoint?

@@redsterthegamer That game was just rushed, it actually had great ambition and could have been probably the best sonic game. Sonic fans respect that game much more than anything made after 2009, especially sonic forces and colors ultimate.

cant believe somebody using the Yuzu Switch emulator was passing around issues that dont exist on the actual hardware as if they were. thats an unnecessary amount of hate to throw at a game that doesnt deserve it.

The emulator excuse was proven to be false.
There are seizure inducing glitches in the Switch version seen on real hardware, as well as EVERY other version.
Stop making excuses for Sega. They’re a billion dollar company, they have access to quality control and are choosing not to utilize it.
And I don’t know why you’re insisting it wasn’t released yet. The Digital Deluxe version released already. The game is out. It is released.

@@ArcRay20 So far, the only issue that was proven to be caused by the emulator was T-Posing Sonic. Everything else occurs on actual hardware.
Those "emulator glitches" even if they were fake (which for the most part I'm pretty sure they're not) aren't even the biggest issues with the port. There's a bunch of proven issues with the game outside of that, all of which are legitimately in the game, no emulators involved. Not even just the Switch version sucks, there's a bunch of problems. It doesn't deserve defending, it's really shitty that they couldn't even get a simple port job right. It's just pathetic at this point, as if they were so confidant that Sonic Colours would make them money that they felt like they didn't even need to bother. In a lot of ways Ultimate is a downgrade. I think this and I didn't even like the original Sonic Colours. I'm sick of Sega not learning their fucking lesson with this shit.

Sometimes I think the future of the Sonic Franchise really are the fans, according to gamerguyd7aces.
They literally are. Fan games are getting better, more complete and more frequent. A lot of the ideas often top whatever Sega is pumping out. There's more passion and quality involved that's for sure. There's even a fanmade remake of Sonic 06 that is actually making huge progress and makes the game fun. Sonic Mania was created by people who were once Sonic fan creators and it's the best Sonic thing to come out in _years._ Meanwhile the official source of Sonic content can't even port Sonic Colours properly. Fans are definitely the only thing keeping Sonic kicking after all these years of negligence and failure, soon fan games will be the most anticipated Sonic releases. Hell, they almost already are to me. If Sonic Adventure 3 ever gets made one day it will be in the form of a fan game.

The drums are well made, but the bass guitar should have been an octave lower and with a different pulse modulation. Why did you make it like that? To make it purposely sound "8 bit? Retro?" You could have made this sound so much better!
