My mum uttered the words, "She put on a really good spread" just last week after visiting a friend's house warming. It's honestly hilarious that you mentioned it today. Ad altiora!
You are there in a very special week. This is the week before the Sanremo festival, which is - arguably - the most famous singing event in Italy (but it's not just about the music... the entire show, which lasts a week, is a dynamic exhibition). It's a massive event and they are doing rehearsals at the moment. I am shocked you found a hotel!! Good look with your adventures, and lots of love from a fellow AMI possessor (got it after watching most of your videos, which kept me company during the long 9-month-wait for my baby to get home!!)
Mike Buongiorno was an Italian American TV personality of the 1950/60. He became famous for hosting the first Italian TV quiz game “Lascia o raddoppia” (Leave or double your money) in the late 1950 early 60s. The programme was so popular that cinemas had to install a TV and show the programme before showing the films. I was a little boy and I remember it well.
We’re not in Kansas anymore- That’s for sure !!! I’m always glad to see my peeps treated nice by nice people We example Garage Attendant So simple to be helpful and kind and sets the tone for the visit ❤️ You 3
Great tour and you guys are constant factors every week - many channels are very hit and miss but we know each week we can rely on you to post something entertaining. To see San Remo from a very wet cold Wales was lovely. Thank-you.

Thank you for the delightful journey Mates, well done! Delightful as well having Mandrews drop in to say hello. Perhaps she could come back for and chat a bit more about life on the Riviera. Surprising to see that "Shocking Sight", butt is something however we're quite accustomed to here in Portland (I'll spare you the details). I very much appreciated finally being able to see and enjoy SANREMO. This series of Italian episodes is excellent, indeed the old part of the city has a unique atmosphere and charm of its own. The streets of Italian cities, as one might expect, are completely chaotic and filled with scooters everywhere; it's a kind of organized chaos :) I can't believe that guy in the middle of the street in that condition, unbelievable!!!! Thanks a lot for another excellent Sunday episode.

Well it was different can I say that, glad you’re back in France with your nice food . Little Twigs was getting surrounded at one point. Your hotel break looked nice though and great breakfast. Thanks again and see you next week. Love to Twigs…..💕💕
I think Mr Boo should be the announcer for Sat Nav "go Round this Roundabout thingy..." Marvellous. you do know that in Italy signs for Speed are MINIMUM you must travel at... Ciao Bella
Sometimes UA-camrs will oversell their thumbnail --- if anything, you did not prepare us adequately for the shock! I was really impressed by how low the prices were... was not expecting for it to decline so much. Was really a different world than the Cote d'Azur
Well the subscriber that found you, was wearing an amazing fur coat, which definitely contrasts with the t-shirt weather that you two seemed to be enjoying. The Italians do love furs.
Going full-on Sanremo Festival this week, this is a very welcome introducion. I will probably drewl over Marco Mengoni, Diodato & Mahmood. But at least I know their coffee & food options now. :) So tonight I'm not buying youa coffee, bought you a few nice beers. Please, never stop doing this!
Another great video guys, the weather looks amazing. Looking forward to the next one, Mr Boo didn’t say his customary byyeee on this one 😮, until then stay charged
Starting of on a deconstructed full English and than going to the market to buy willy-cream! 😂 This really is a good idea to do; having a trip among the Italian Riviëra! Thank you so much for your lovely guided tour ❤ By the way, I did a coffee-donation, enjoy!
The best hotel breakfast that I've ever had was in the Coach & Jockey just outside Thurles in Tipperary in Ireland. But, that brekkie looks very good for the continent.
Great fun! We’re back to VF in early march & will try a visit ourselves. The Paris-Nice (“The race to the sun”) arrives in Nice while we’re there - are you planning to film it? Paul & Ali
😮 You went from Nice to Sanremo....in an Ami? How!? I only drive up from Monaco to la Turbie because I can more or less roll down on the way back, but anything further finding a place to charge would be too much hassle for me. Next time you're' in Sanremo try la Pignese (food is better in the evening for some reason) and of course Flipper.
@@MeandMonAmi Ya, impressive. But I think for long distances I'll stick with the car. Btw, having seen your other video where you were discussing the Fiat - if you buy it in Italy for example (Sanremo is indeed the closest place from Nice), not only is it significantly cheaper in Italy, but the delivery time is also half! of what it is in France, and then you can either pick it up and drive it back, or you have it shipped. We ordered one the other day and will have it transported on a trailer back here. With the eco bonus (not sure what it is in France, here in MC it is 40%) total cost is a decent 4500. And best of luck on getting your licence!
Loved your tour, and what a lovely old hotel. Can't remember much of the old town, but it was 1973 when I was on holiday there. Was that really €189 for a little pocket knife? Or was the decimal point in the wrong place and shouldve been €18.90? I think speed limit signs are for advice only in Italy! Food markets are always good to browse around, in every Italian town.
You certainly don't see it every day but about 10 or so years ago on a city break in Kiev we witnessed a lady doing a plop in the street. I couldn't believe it and I asked my wife, "did we really just see that". Anyhow I'm enjoying your Italian trip, can't wait for the next one.
Brilliant video as usual guys…..why can’t you put a solar panel on the roof of your Ami and leave your bluetti inside charging from the panel while you are driving along, or when it’s parked. It will keep the bluetti fully charged every day in the sunshine you guys get then connect the bluetti to your Ami at night to top up its battery pack. It will also give you some shade while driving. I’m sure others may have suggested this. Loving your Italian escapade…and remember…..Stay Charged😂😂safe travels guys !
We’ve thought about it but in the end the difficulties it poses for our cameras and the relatively small pay off of power doesn’t quite convince us it’s worthwhile. The Ami roof is thin plastic and the solar would need to be solid and solidly attached. We haven’t totally ruled it out but can’t quite see it..the airport cars who use this only charge peripherals with it and don’t go up windy mountains etc
Hi lads from Spian. That 'Christmas Tree' is an araucaria. The tune you started with has been bothering me all week and I wondered where i acquired it - now I know! Those little twisty and narrow streets were like that for a reason - they are easier to defend unlike the straight grids they started putting in France where you can position a tank at one end and fire the full length of the street.
Italy needs a Pink Punters that would spruce up the place lol , don't know if you've been there before Tim ? Its in Milton Keynes very fun place for a night out
