As far as the offensive playbook goes, I thought it was pretty clear that it would be a combination of Sirianni and Kellen's playbooks, with Sirianni's plays being a little more favored to start out the season. And the reasoning for very little motion used against TB makes perfect sense too. We had a couple of practice squad guys lining up where AJ and Smitty would be, so it wouldn't make much sense to ask them to do all the things that AJ and Smitty do. Now I do recall both Nick and Kellen talking all offseason about how Jalen has some input on plays he likes and doesn't like during system install. How much do you think that plays a factor into why we aren't seeing as much motion as we're accustomed to seeing from a Kellen Moore offense?

organizational philosophy is correct the front office has the biggest say out of anyone. I've been saying this that the analytic department I believe has a major influence on how the eagles run their offense
There is definitely an organizational, or top down element to the discussion. If Nick differed from the front office’s vision or philosophic approach, he wouldn’t be here. So, it definitely starts at the top.
In my opinion, this entire staff including Nick and Kellen needs to figure out our early possession struggles. It is eerily reminiscent to 2022’s 3rd quarter struggles coming out of half time that bit us in the rear end during the Super Bowl. How they divide the division of labor up with this issue is up to them, but us falling behind by more than one possession early in games to good teams is a recipe for disaster. Doug Pederson, Reich, DeFilippo, Stout, Duce, and company figured it out in 2017. Then, Sirianni, Steichen, Patullo, Stout, and company figured it out in 2022. So, Nick, Kellen, Patullo, Stout, Jalen, etc need to figure it out this year.
He’s not interfering he is taking the blame and the heat off his coordinators listen to the coordinators answers about the same calls. he’s doing a good job of taking all the hate from the fans and diverting attention.
We desperately need a three phase game. We need all three phases: Offense, Defense, and Special Teams to click together. I think just one of those games would breathe new air into the building, and everyone’s belief in the season would drastically increase.
Nick is brilliant, just not a good football coach. If he take the blame for everything and everyone knows he is taking the blame, then Howie and Company wont know what was actually his fault. I wish his offense was as as creative
Right now… I think they need to do a better job at self scouting, and they need to do a better job with advanced scouting. Basically, our game plans are coming up short, and we’re failing to get the offense into rhythm early in games.
