I have been watching you for quite a while... You have a gift for making the mundane and old cast offs really cool... Your enthusiasm is contagious!!! 🌹💐🤓 St Petersburg Florida here..🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸God Bless America!
I went back to a “pounded” sports field not having any hope, but because of the dryness a was able to pull a Standing Liberty Quarter and a silver ring. I don’t have a new machine, an old Land Ranger Pro, but I see the weather changes do make quite a difference.
Another awesome episode! That Equinox 900 is spanking out those deep targets. You had some cool finds Greg. Congrats on your silvers. Those buckles were cool. 💖💯
We always enjoy watching your episodes Greg and this was no exception. So awesome, we just love the finds , photos and all the history you provide. The story of that tree was really interesting. Thank you buddy, see you next week. Ward & Kim K.
So many wonderful photographs in this visit...that little kid crying in the wash tub broke my heart...was that Clark Kent standing on that public scale at 25:00?!---I thought you were unusually quiet on those two hunts, I suspected the heat was getting to you.---I did not know of the two previous hunts, so loved the re-telling of the twisted tree!
That Wheat Penny that rung up at 90-91, I've had the same thing, sometimes they sound just like a dime and you think there might be something else in the hole to get a number that high.
I know I've said this before but I do love going over ground multiple times no matter the finds. It paid off on Monday when I found my 1st war nickel and my 9th Eagle Infantry cuff button
Congrats on your first War nickel Ezra! Nine Eagle I's is pretty awesome! There is nothing I enjoy more than going over the same ground and challenging myself each time. It's very satisfying when you pull something out and a great way to just get away from it all. Thanks so much for watching this one and take care! ATB Greg
Just another AWESOME dig !! The more the 900 in use the more I'm thinking of getting one. Greg your video was great with interesting finds and impressive detecting. Later Bart
Regarding the flat brass circle you found by the river. Check to see if either a Nickel or a Quarter fits perfectly into the machined slot. When I was a kid I had a heavy metal WWI Cannon Shell that had been re-purposed as a bank. The top had a slot cut in it to put the coins in and the bottom was threaded on the inside. There was a flat brass circle that screwed perfectly into the threads just far enough to be the base. You opened it by using a Nickel or a Quarter in the slot to unscrew it and put it back. I recall it being heavy enough even without coins in it.
I think you will find threads on the side of that brass round plate. It is actually a clean out plumbing cover. Note the screwdriver notch in the top. Love the show... Keep it up! Ric Wilson
Hey Greg, I'm semi retired at the moment so l don't start my Thursdays until l watch your video, that way if the rest of my day is a stinker at least it started on a high note. The Rosette may be an electrical outlet cover, the slot on the back was for using a straight blade screw driver. As always a highly enjoyable video.
Congrats on the relics and those beautiful coins, Greg! I had no luck on patents for 1/30/1912 for a USR company 🤷♂I do concur that coins do ring-up higher in moist soil with my Nox 900 too. Like you said, it doesn't matter if it's a high tone!
Wow!!! That 900 seems to be doing an amazing job for you. I’m very impressed, I know you and Chris are very thorough and have hit places multiple times, and to still pull silver, buffaloes, and wheaties out is pretty impressive. Another great hunt and video as usual, I can’t wait to see what next week will bring. Happy hunting Greg!!!
Nice Couple of Hunts there Greg. Congrats on the 1939 Mercury Dime Rosie Buffalo Nickle and Wheaties. Love the Buckles Lock and Key. Hope you find out what the USR Pat. January 30 1912 is. Take Care
Thanks Ray and the 800 is a great machine and will always find lots of treasure. It's just that the 900 is a greatly improved version now. Just like computers, phones and cars, they all get improved upon each year. I am about an hour away from Blount. Thanks so much for watching this one and take care! ATB Greg
I have a question. Where do you keep/display your cool finds.? Or, rather, "how" do you keep and show them? I think it would make an interesting show if you,(and other youtubers) that metal detect would showcase their displays
Could the mystery find be the top of a medicine bottle, the kind that has rubber in the middle? A needle goes through the rubber to extract the medicine with a syringe.
Great hunt Greg. Its nice way to start my day @ 6 a.m. Take Care.
and another fine week on Finding America..
Can't thank you enough. History in the dirt .
You all slayed 'em this week! Plenty of fabulous finds!
Very entertaining!! Thank you for sharing. It is content like this that inspired me to start documenting my finds!!! Happy Hunting!

Where do you ever find these amazing pictures? They really enhance your videos.
The 900 coupled with your experience is a win-win! Great finds!
Nice finds Greg with a couple pieces of silver. Love the ending photos as always.

Another excellent video Greg and really enjoyed watching you finding those coins and relics.

That Wheat Penny that rung up at 90-91, I've had the same thing, sometimes they sound just like a dime and you think there might be something else in the hole to get a number that high.

Nice job Greg !! Careful in the heat

Great finds as usual I see that 900is really paying for it's self
I’m glad to see you using the 900. I just started using mine. I run in park 2, because I like the sounds better, then 1’s. Great finds!
I think you will find threads on the side of that brass round plate. It is actually a clean out plumbing cover. Note the screwdriver notch in the top. Love the show... Keep it up! Ric Wilson
Nice mixture of finds. Been watching your channel for about a year or so.
Nice finds as always! And thanks for the history lessons. Love your videos!!!

I found a Buffalo nickel last year here in Arizona. But the date was gone… how fun. Thanks……
Great finds!!

Would be fun to detect with you guys if I was closer and not enough Older houses around here early 1900s
💥💥💥💥@7:48 The tree is amazing! How old would you guys say that is?

That brass circle reminds me of the cover for a floor electrical outlet. Are there any threads on the edge?
Nice Couple of Hunts there Greg. Congrats on the 1939 Mercury Dime Rosie Buffalo Nickle and Wheaties. Love the Buckles Lock and Key. Hope you find out what the USR Pat. January 30 1912 is. Take Care
Guess you do like it should have told me to watch today cant wait to get mine now. Thanks again for fausa code
Great finds, now I'm questioning my 800. My mama was born in Blount county tenn. I think near friendsville ,are you near there?
Thanks Ray and the 800 is a great machine and will always find lots of treasure. It's just that the 900 is a greatly improved version now. Totally gonna start using the term "Can slaw"😂
I have a question. Where do you keep/display your cool finds.? Or, rather, "how" do you keep and show them? I think it would make an interesting show if you,(and other youtubers) that metal detect would showcase their displays
Awesome video as usual !😊.. I have been using a 600 since it came out and have done well , is it much of a challenge transitioning over to a 900 ?
Could the mystery item be a victrola needle cup top that was the closest I could find but couldn't figure out how to upload pictures on here.
nice!!
I bought this same shovel you got a few months ago and love it. How do you like it.. Robbie Whigham
The teddy bear looks like it may be part of a bristle blocks set... My kids
U.S.R. may have something to do with United Saftey Razor .
Enjoyed ✌
Could the mystery find be the top of a medicine bottle, the kind that has rubber in the middle? A needle goes through the rubber to extract the medicine with a syringe.
The old lock looks like it might have been on the front of a steamer trunk.
Interesting on that "U.S.R." find. The date of Jan 30, 1912... Two months, two weeks and two days later saw the sinking of the Titanic.
Camera focus is very delayed when holding finds in hand. Overpriced detector seems to find deep targets.
Hope life gets better for you.
Peace to a pole lamp thay still use them
