Long time early childhood educator here. It happens all the time that young ones want to "marry" a person they love most in all the world. They are figuring out that marriage is a special kind of love and they know that the love that they have for you is special too, so it makes sense to them.
It's such a sweet compliment and indicates you have a beautiful relationship.
I have watched you guys for 6 or 7 yrs. One of the reason I love your channel is that you guys are real!!! You mix your videos up with parks/ home vlogs / trips /etc. and it’s not just one thing everyday. Keep doing what you’re doing. ❤

One of the best photos of my little bro is him raising a hand to answer a question in preschool with a huge smile on his face and his middle finger held proudly in the air.
Related/but not really, our daughter was 6 & dancing around the kitchen a bit suggestively and my husband asked where did you learn to dance like that? Was it the after school club? She said no, remember the rolling rocks? Finally figured out it was Mick Jagger doing the Super Bowl halftime show. Oh jeez. 😂 Of course she’s fine now! Very chill, very together, 24 yr old. Kids are for sure sponges, doesn’t mean they have to be raised in a bubble.

Baby sleep is an enigma. Some babies just aren’t as good at sleeping as others . Just sending solidarity from the same, sleep deprived, boat! I watch your videos in the middle of the night when I’m trying to go back to sleep… like right now at 2 am.

Jenn cracking me up with Jackson saying “oh but I don’t have any flowers” and she’s like “umm are we planning a wedding?” Kids are so sweet and innocent with wanting to marry mom or dad. So adorable - to them love is just love ❤

Jen, you should try audio books! I put one on after kiddo goes to sleep and get to read and fold my laundry at the same time! Doing dishes, read a book! Sweeping dinner, read a book!
One of my nephews used his little finger when he was a tiny guy! Oliver is just fine.
You guys have dismissed going on the Icon of the Seas cruise, but while watching several videos from the initial cruisers I kept thinking Jackson would love this & that. So many water slides, pools, kids rooms, shows, etc. There's even a real live ship dog to pet! Take a look at the various videos and you may change your minds. Could be fun to do with Nick's family. Note, the first video I ever watched w/you guys was your first cruise & Jenn had expressed her fears of being on a boat, but was glad to see you faced & conquered your fear.
Mentioning dogs, don't worry if you would bond as much with a new dog as the one you lost. After having 9 cats over 50 years, I know you do. The only hard part is knowing they won't live as long as us. But loving them while they're with us is such a gift. The only issue s/b how one would fit into your traveling life.
Someone else asked about Jenn's driving, I understand your fears. But having 2 drivers in the family would mean you would be able to step in if Tim was unable to drive. Hope you're making progress with your confidence.
You guys really need to bring Jackson to Detroit to experience the Henry Ford Museum - he will experience car nirvana. There's also a real locomotive he can climb into to train engineer cab. So much to see including Presidential cars & Rosa Parks bus.

I’m 35 with two kids 11 and 7, husband and I’m still trying to balance. In all honesty I know it’ll be like that until they leave the nest so to speak but not looking forward to that. So I try to just take it easy on myself and take it day by day, whatever gets done is what gets done. I used to stress myself out and overwhelm myself so much now it’s just like is what it is.

Oliver is such a big buddy now❤. I know sometimes when babies are hitting some milestones it can disrupt their sleep because their little brains are working on overdrive with all of the things they're learning to do❤....toss some teething in there and it makes for some pretty long nights. Thank goodness they're cute haha. Having littles can definitely keep you busy but my goodness your heart feels so full of love you could burst. ❤Jenn I'm intrigued to look for the book you're reading now. It sounds really good! Our son went through the exact same thing! We did the Ferber method as well. It worked (like 80% improvement), but was soooo hard. I think I cried just as much as he did.

Great home vlog. I had picked my daughter up from daycare when she was 3yrs old. I asked her about her day as we drove home. She told me how she was going to marry Daddy. I said, well you can't because I'm married to Daddy. She then said, ok, then I'll marry Papa with Dogs. I told her, but grandma is married to Papa. She the Papa with Cats. Again said, Grandma is married to Papa. She then said her Uncle. I then tried to explain she couldn't marry any of them because they are her family. She was quiet for a few seconds then burst out crying asking who was going to marry her, no one will love her. Full blown hysterics. I reassured her she would find someone when she was much older. To this day, a precious memory❤

We took Taking Cara Babies sleep training and it was LIFE CHANGING. It’s still difficult but so worth it! And you can make it in a way that you feel comfortable!
Loved seeing more of Oliver ❤. I think Jackson looks just like Jen and Oliver looks just like Tim - but with Jen's eyes. Both boys are gorgeous!

When a bruise comes up like that you hand def broken it mine came up that colour and straight away, buddy strap them to keep it in place and try not to stub it or re back it again like I did lol

I was blessed with some well sleeping kids (except for 3 months of colic ). We didnt have to sleep train except when our oldest went to a toddler bed. When the kids were over 1, i felt comfortable putting safe toys near their crib they coukd grab, and it was at least a gentler way for me to wake up in the morning, baby talk rather than crying.
25:22 my husband is in my 2 year old’s room right now, mid watching this video to help him fall asleep an hour after we already put him down ugh! I feel you guys so hard on this one… my first son is the best sleeper, my second is just beyond.

Put a small piece of cotton ball between your toe and tape (medical bandage tape) the injured toe to the toe next to it, but not too tightly. Your broken toe will be supported and heal better. That kind of bandage that sticks to itself would work well. I’ve it if it hurts.😁

Tim, I do intermittent fasting because I'm a diabetic. I eat dinner between 6 and 7 and don't eat snacks after dinner. I eat breakfast at around 10 AM. I do have lunch and dinner. I feel great and the best part is I lost 8 pounds. So it does work. 😊
I see Jackson in Oliver a bit at the beginning of. It is common to point like that he’s so cute and getting big!
Whenever you show a trip to Publix, my eyes always catch a BOGO deal that I need to go take advantage of before Thursday

I do intermittent fasting. The longer the daily fast the better. I eat between 8 am and 6 pm. My fast is between 6 pm and 8 am. A 14 hour fast. Others do 16 hours. Not me!
Life is hard but that keeps it interesting! Stay awesome Trackers!

Random you mentioned Oliver slet well on cruise and joked that maybe its rocking which helped him sleep.
When you're getting him to sleep are you rocking him etc which stops when he's put in crib and once movement stops may be reason he's waking more etc?
I wonder if there's something you can put under mattress to make it move and keep him asleep? 🤔
How many naps does Oliver have during the day.?? Keep him up more during the day experiment and see if he’s more tired at nighttime. Good luck alls good
I hope your lip heals soon, Jen. Both of my little daughters bumped into my eyes - one on each side and about the same time. So I went to church with two black eyes, hoping no one would think that was done to me by my husband. I don't think anyone did, or else the word never got back to me or my husband - and it has been 30 years.
dont skip a meal just eat within timeframe you choose! 8am-6pm or 7am-5pm
I was gonna say the same thing. I only eat two meals a day (I almost always eat breakfast food as the first meal.) plus a snack between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm. This works perfectly with my OTR truck driving schedule. The only reason I don't eat three is because my tummy won't allow a third meal. 😅

I did the “sleep training” with both my kids at 8 months. I read somewhere that they are not waking up hungry at that age. I always put my babies in their crib asleep. So they didn’t know how to settle themselves when they woke in the night. It was soooooo hard. And we had to do it again if they got sick and I wrecked the sleep routine. Good luck! It is good for them to learn how to fall asleep on their own. So think of it as doing it for them. 😊
Lots of babies - not all - need to learn to fall asleep on their own in their own cribs, if you think Oliver is used to falling asleep on you being rocked etc thats how he learns to go to sleep! So when he wakes up in his cot, hes alone and doesnt know how to go back to sleep again because theres nobody there rocking him or whatever it is you do! If you help him to learn that skill then youll all be getting much better sleep! 😊
Love ya Jen but if you need Oliver to sleep at night he probably doesn't need 2 naps a day. He seems like he's used to sleeping in small spurts and it's carrying over into night. I'd see if you can keep him up longer during the day and see if that helps. ❤

Jenn, I think you should watch The Traitors! It’s an awesome reality TV that will get you hooked with some cliff hangers episodes endings. Season 2 is even better than 1.

Yes, I you know what I was doing on Sunday? Megacon taking pictures and meeting up with Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, and when it was super windy I was taking a tour on a helicopter over the parks then went up in the StarFlyer.. fun times!! 😮 💨

I also have 2 boys. My oldest was an amazing sleeper starting at 3 weeks old. My second son? Didn't sleep thru the night until 18 months!! I feel your pain. Hang in there, it will get better and you'll be able to sleep again :)
