The phrasing does indeed elevate the melodies and rhythm. I'm in love with the sound.

Thank you, Pride! Great teaching - so clear and straightforward. Looking forward (no pun intended) to further parts. Wonderful channel - all gems (even when in Shona, which I sadly don’t speak) Ndatenda

Thanks Stuart. You are already a great mbira player and have little to learn here. But thanks again.

@@ZimbabweMbira In my dreams! And since I do not know this song but love it, I am learning it from you... Might I make one suggestion? This is probably relevant to non-Zimbabweans only but since you're global here now.... It helps to hear the song before starting to learn the parts and the different hands. Just "this is what we're going to learn." As a non-Zimbabwean this was my greatest challenge - to have the song in my head before I started learning the keys... If you say to a Zimbabwean here is how to play Kariga Mombe, they already hear Karina Mombe, they just need to see how... This was the most important thing I learned about learning mbira - to listen and listen to the song before trying to learn it... Hope you don't mind the suggestion. Your teaching is just right and a breath of fresh air! Please say hello to Bezil for me. I don't know when was the last time I saw him but it was a long long time ago.

Certainly; will incorporate a sound clip of the song before teaching the song. Thanks for the suggestion. Will pass your greetings to Bezil.

Thank you very much for the lesson on pfumvu paruzevha. Looking forward to the other parts... I am very grateful. Best way to teach beginners; starting with the left side, combining it with the nhetete. The voice sounds like Mugove. I have learnt well his song "Chipembere". May we have lessons on Taireva, Bangiza, Nhemamusasa, Mahororo, chamutengure, Mudzimu dzoka, and other traditional ones. Also looking for a lesson on that tune by Master Chivero "Advance kushuga".

For anyone considering these lessons, here's a quick recording of what I got out of them. Lessons are simple enough to be a starting point for new players. I've been playing for a while and really enjoyed them, Mugove is very talented so watching him is always interesting.
