She hangs out a lot with Ross only the two of them which she doesn’t do much with Chandler for example. She clearly roots for him and Rachel and always push him to take some risks. The best’s friends are the ones you can be totally yourself with and that will have your back on tough times even though they make fun of you a lot of times or tell you when you’re not acting right.

Sure, she jokes about Ross, but don't others do that too (except for Monica)? But when Ross actually feels small, Phoebe never fails to step up, either talking him up or waking him up. I'm sorry but I really don't see where she means to be mean to Ross.
My favorite platonic duo on the show! They are two opposite ends but have so great chemistry. Ross alwasy looks out for Phoebe: when the gang judges her for chewing her hair, when she seeks marriage advice, and in this one when she mentions she never had a bike. Phoebe in the meantime actually cares a lot about Ross: when he was betrayed by Carol, when he's upset about his three failed marriages, and whenever he's low because of his relationship with Rachel... Their bond is so deep, so adorable that it's actually a non-romantic relationship nobody wouldn't want.

I hate the episode when the 2 are fighting over evolution because Ross was being a completely arrogant jerk and Phoebe was trying to help him realise there’s more than one way to look at the world and I agree with her on that
Ross had all the reasons to be astonished by Phoebe's beliefs at first, don't try to pretend that she wasn't a lunatic in that episode... By the end of the episode Phoebe was deliberately messing with Ross just to provoke him... it was like if Ross teased Phoebe's horrible musical technique, it would've hurt her. Evolution and these kind of topics are a passion for Ross and she knew that.
