- I have regrouped in this video the scenes of childhood when flashback of Tifa and Cloud as well as their first meeting after Cloud left SOLDIERS and was helping Avalanche with their mission.

Spoilers: Cloud wanted to become a SOLDIER to become strong and differentiate himself against Tifa's guy friends, to win her over. That's likely why Cloud insisted that He was not like them.
@@thanhdohuu9473 Yeah Cloud had a serious inferiority complex compared to the other kids in the village. He was also jealous of the other kids because Tifa was close to them
The one time the "I'm not like other guys" line is actually endearing.
That, along with Tifa breaking up the argument between Cloud and Barret when going up the stairs with Cloud saying “But Tifa!”.
You can see the genuine emotion outside of his stoic personality.
I like this cloud better. He seems a little more considerate and sweet.

*FUN FACT*
Just my interpretation; when Tifa made Cloud to promise her to save her when she's in trouble, is actually an obvious sign that she also had feelings to Cloud when they're little. Her leg's swinging tells that she was blushed, means that she was confessing her feelings to cloud via the pragmatic meaning behind words. Afterall, she just wanted to make sure that she will meet Cloud again, someday.

When Aerith and Jessie asking who is Tifa for you? He always nostalgic with the kid Tifa.
I assume Tifa is special girl when he was kid, maybe his first love.. I know because he did permission when he was leaving and didn't want to compare to other guys that left Tifa..making promise to save her.
And now when he become older, he always remember Tifa but too shy to admit his first love
Yep. He loves Tifa. He wasn't really allowed to be around her though because her dad blamed him for her getting hurt in the mountains even though he saved her when the other boys wouldn't, so he is right he isn't like the rest, but wasn't friends with the other boys either. He thought he was better than they were so he wouldn't even play with them. So eventually he was kinda treated the like the weird kid, and honestly he kinda was. Sorry if that was spoilery, but i didn't tell you anything too big in the grand scheme of things.

Great part about it is that he did keep his promise I can’t wait to see how they do everything else in the remake
Damn near killed him too. Actually, that would be the third time he almost died for tifa, having held off a group solo for a bit to protect her earlier when the group first reaches the reactor in nibelheim. All Zack had to do was ask tifa is she was the one that cloud had mentioned, without bringing up that he was there.
Cloud and tifa are special for one an each other that's why cloud always safe tifa and tifa always care cloud

They met each other before this, when TIFA found him on the station mako-poisened. That’s when he first got in touch with soldier.

Yeah the scene where they are kids was longer than 5 years ago. Cloud says 5 years because that was the Nibelheim incident where Sephiroth goes crazy. Tifa says “Huh?” when he says 5 years because you know, she technically never knew he was there during the incident.

They didn't meet up in nibelheim. Because they never actually spoke to each other and tifa didn't recognise cloud till he saved her and she passed out right after she recognised him so she probably didn't remember
Fun fact for those that didnt read traces of two past, this is the moment Tifa knew she was in love with cloud and never stopped since. Shot down her childhood friend group, Johnny and every one else. Wish the game writers give the remake a happier ending and ship Cloud off with Tifa or at least end the love triangle where no one gets squat.

Tifa didn't do anything bad to Cloud, it's because of her father (and even it's understandable since he went a bit traumatic of her wife's death hence he's just being too overprotective to Tifa after she fell)
This remake is my introduction to final fantasy so I am confused why do people keep saying that, can someone tell me how Tifa is directly or indirectly responsible or which installment should I play to figure it out?

@@NPCLIVESMATTER723 Tifa isn't to blame at all, play the original ff7 on playstation 4/5 or pc and you'll understand more. I'll briefly describe, Tifa was a kid when her mother died, around 7 or 8 she believed she believed she could see her mother on Mt.Nibel. Her friends that were with her left her, so she traveled alone on a weak bridge, little did she know Cloud followed her to try to keep her safe, but the bridge gave and they both fell. Cloud caught her temporarily but they still fell and while Cloud suffered minor injuries Tifa was unconscious and was in a Coma for about a week. Tifa's father, angered at Cloud blamed him claiming he brought her there and he told him to stay away from his daughter. There were many times Tifa wanted to see Cloud but he kept his distance from her feeling he was too weak to save her.
When Cloud was 14 and she was 13, Cloud told her to meet him on the water tower and thus is the scene when he said he wants to join Soldier and become just like Sephiroth, however, he also did this to impress Tifa as well so he can feel like he gotten stronger.
This is only a part of the story, i don't want to giveaway everything but if you want to play the original or watch it, it's a great story from beginning to end and it'll help you appreciate the remake.

If you really think Cloud and Aerith are gong to end up together than sorry but you all are in for a rude awakening. Yes they had a few moments in Part 1 but Cloti was dominant and you could see them growing more throughout the game and the clincher was the rooftop scene where Tifa saved Cloud and he clutched her arm extra hard with the camera shot focused on that....game over. And if you look at Aerith closely in this you can clearly see her pushing them together. Cloud might feel something for her as a friend but Tifa is his endgame.
Tifa never treated Cloud like shit. Get your facts straight.
