I agree! I listened to little things and was like "thats good!" and decided to listen to their old songs and sorry but they were complete trash but this is still their style and much better. you put it perfectly! this may sound funny because a string quartet is associated with serious music, but rock bands usually do not have this element of fun with them. when you see a band playing instruments, each member usually maintains a distance and in the element of band culture, I don't really think that the members show that they are having fun with each other, they are rather having fun, but you can feel this distance, that everyone is having fun individually. in xh it actually looks like a string quartet where each member of such a group smiles at each other
@@sandrabrz You're right haha. I've heard a few too many stories of ego clashes between members of rock/metal bands. Whereas I'm sure some classical ensembles have such ego elements, we mostly have to communicate, share emotions and be in total sync with each other to deliver the composer's work correctly. So it's so much fun seeing XH bouncing around while performing, locking eye contact, smiling, even laughing! More reminiscent of a classical group than rock group in that one sense.

Honestly their maturity as musicians with each release is phenomenal. The musicianship and songwriting is so top tier. And their styling is so reflective of this. You can tell they no longer want to be considered a gimmicky rock band. I think their next mission should be a bunch of songs in English so they can hit American squarely between the eyes.

As for my interpretation, the lyrics is about having a relationship that is toxic. Sometimes having this kind of relationship gives you fear. Fear, if you should continue committed to each other. But the song says, I want to be love by you even if it's toxic. Because it's only that person that you can love and nobody else.
Oh, I'm so glad to have found someone talking about the lyrics! I thought they were quite forward in their message so I'm surprised that you have such a different interpretation than me. I heard that their partner lashes out unpredictably which induces fear in them of such events happening again. But as soon as they are afraid and think of leaving, their partner is sweet as sugar, lovebombing them into staying by saying things like "you're the only one for me". The manipulation of the victim, that it is super difficult to get out by yourself and the constant fear of not knowing whether the partner will be nice or mad are very well described in the lyrics. And while yes, that is a toxic relationship, a relationship doesn't need to go to that extent to be called toxic. I would go as far as even saying that the lyrics describe an emotionally abusive partner, maybe even physically.
У мене інші думка на рахунок тексту, думаю вам буде цікаво. Кліп тут це максимально багато інформації. По перше кольорова гамма, білий, чорний і червоний. Кожен колір символізує щось своє. Білий це більше надія та правда. Чорний це біль та сум. Червоний відіграє дуже важливу роль, він берехня, кохання, зрада, смуток та нерозуміння. Під час кліпу кольори стрімко змінюються і вони залежать від тексту. Також присутні червоні нитки, що символізують долю та привʼязують тебе до чогось. З першого погляду це пісня про токсичне кохання та такі ж самі стосунки, але на мою думку( та і знаючи лірику героїв) усе не так просто ;-;( у тексті говориться що світ дарує любов та страх) у випадку героїв я більше відношу це до карʼєри айдолів. Це як на мене одна з самих жахливих професій, тебе можуть ненавидіти за кожну дрібницю, але ти продовжуєш йти далі тому що інші люди дарують тобі любов(від чкої ти залежний, це показують тими ж нитками). Страх від ненормальних фанатів, бажання померти від булінгу, і багато подібного. Оправдывают свое звание рок бэнда. Звучание и стили песен реально меняются. Если сравнить с первым синглом и альбомом, то это совсем другой уровень. Xdinary Heroes спасают кпоп индустрию, создавая такие качественные и уникальные для такой среды песни

i'm not even really a band music person but xdinary heroes have something that makes me go crazy. the last releases have been really REALLY good like production team i want to kiss you, but also the guys themselves are so so good, the vocals are honey to my ears and lyrics are really beautiful!!
Being a villain since pre-debut has been a road filled with a lot of joy and proudness. Xdinary Heroes has never released a single bad song so far and that’s still crazy to me how they can SERVE every single time.

엑디즈가 말아주는 뻔하지 않은 사랑 노래가 좋아.. 사운드, 가사 퀄리티 등 모든 부분에서 밴드로서의 성장이 느껴지고 뮤비도 약간 린킨 파크의 The Hunting Party 앨범 생각나서 너무 내 취향임
와... 알고리즘에 떠서 들었는데 음악성 미쳤는데? 하드한 사운드인데도 전혀 난해하지 않게 곡을 풀어내네... 엑스디너리 히어로즈가 초반엔 코어팬층이나 매니아층을 겨냥한 그룹이라고 생각했는데 지금 완전 생각을 바꿨음. 음악적 완성도, 점점 갖춰가는 대중성, 어떠한 하드한 장르여도 이젠 난해하지 않게 풀어갈 수 있는 능력치까지 진짜 이 그룹은 이번같은 음악성을 꾸준히 만들어낸다면 머지않아 미국에서 먹힐 듯,, 미국에서 먹힐만한 락 음악임. 이 그룹이 제왑에서 훗날 코첼라에 갈 가능성 농후한 팀이라고 생각함. 데이식스가 국내를 겨냥했다면 엑스디너리 히어로즈는 데이식스와 겹치지 않으면서 해외 특히 서양 리스너들을 겨냥한 그룹이네. 자신들의 색깔은 확고하고 이미 구축해냈음. 이제 대중성도 슬슬 갖춰가기 시작하는 듯.. 엔믹스 run for rose 음악 들었을 때도 마찬가지지만 JYP가 우리나라 엔터 통틀어 힙합 레이블 다 포함해서 음악적 도전을 가장 과감하게 하는 회사라고 생각함. 가장 다양한 장르를 시도하고 난해하더라도 과감없이 컨셉을 시도함. 사실 엔믹스보고 난 오히려 제왑의 도전성이 독이라 생각했음. 음악성 개나줘버리고 그저 도전에만 의미를 두니까 이게 어떤 그룹에는 독인건 확실함. 도전이라는게 음악성을 갖춰야 좋은거고 의미있고 박수받을만하지 음악성 내다던져버리고 케이팝 극 매니아층만 겨냥한 음악적 도전은 난 사실 쓰레기라고 생각함. 너무 직접적으로 말해서 미안한데... 근데 엑스디너리 이번 음악 듣고 생각이 완전히 달라짐. 이게 진짜 도전이지... 난 이번 엑스디너리 히어로즈 음악이 정답같음. 음악적 도전과 음악성을 동시에 잡아내고 대중성도 전부 고려한... 엔믹스의 믹스팝처럼 너무 도전과 독특함에만 중점을 둬서 음악성 버려버리고 음악적으로 어떠한 의미도 없는 왜 하는지 모르겠는 그런 음악적 도전 말고 이번 엑스디너리 히어로즈 음악처럼 대중이 듣기에도 리스너들이 듣기에도 인정할 수 있는 도전이야말로 의미 있는 도전같음. 엔믹스 담당 본부가 이 음악듣고 처절하게 반성했으면함.
I agree that DAY6 music sounds geared towards Korea but they could be popular for sure in the West too. As for Xdinary Heroes, if JYP put efforts in promoting them, they could be on top of the world right now. Their music is a rock music gamechanger.
