Clattenburg saying the ref should give a few soft decisions to Milan to appease the crowd had me spitting my beer out lol can someone clip that up? Couldn’t believe what I was hearing
Think the main difference with us vs citeh and arsenal is that it’s in our DNA, part of our history as an iconic club as are Milan for their own reasons. We have history and we have nothing to prove, but everything to fight for
Difference between forest and Milan was Milan left spaces for midfield and wingers to move into, forest closed the spaces for the midfielders there will be more games like forest than Milan this season
Love the way McCallister is able to take the ball in a tight space looks like he should lose it then shifts his body position before he gets the ball and he’s away
The duel between Trent & Leao provided some great moments. The first was when Leao put on the after-burners and was heading to the line, Trent could not quite catch up, but he kept close enough to let Leao know he was still there. Trent of a couple of years ago would have watched him disappearing into the distance, and stood and watched with his hands on his hips. Because Trent was still breathing down his neck, Leao could not come inside and had to go straight to the line, and that gave valuable time to Gravenberch to get there and make a great block on the cross - proper team work. The second was when Leao raced to get a ball near the touchline, and turned to find Trent was already on him. Leao did a fantastic stepover and feint and it looked like he might break free, but Trent stayed cool and focused and just caught enough of the ball to get it out of play. Leao looked totally deflated. Again, the old Trent would have been done like a kipper there, but there is a proper defender there now. Fair play to him.
@@MrLewbaahwatch him press. He destroys teams playing out from the back and has stopped multiple counterattacks by himself this season. There is a reason why he always plays. You think Klip’s and Slot are unintelligent?

I agree with your comment that Liverpool have to remain coolheaded no matter what. This style of play requires ice in the veins and an intense workrate at the same time. We saw some of that tonight.
@@ryanparry1965 Lol, you took time out of your life to tell me my opinion was wrong. Why not add a constructive comment to the video instead? What did you like about it, or what might they do better, for example?
First goal conceded was definitely a lack of rhythm, Gapko and Tsimikas baited into a press that Virg tries to cover, then they are all out of position and we are wide open. I thought the changes started relatively poor but both grew into the game. Neil loves giving Kostas a hard time, and for the most part I agree, but defensively, after their goal where him and Virg got caught, I thought he did well. Made a crucial tackle to win the ball against Morata when Virg got caught out, and the defending at the back post to deny their attacker the chance from the cross in the second was great. Took too many shots in the final third but also got an assist. I think overall he played well tbh.
Gravenberch who last season I just didn’t rate has an argument to claim he has been man of the match in every game this season. Jurgen in a master stroke moved Bobby to false 9. Arnes master stroke is Gravenberch.

I tagged the TAW in a tweet yesterday, I've done a predictor on the Kicker App that's available in German, I had it in my mind that 16 would probably get Top 8, then did a prediction for all games and had Benfica finishing 9th with 18, there's a huge element of luck of the draw in this. I even somehow had Man City 10th with 17 whilst thinking they were Top 3 the whole time, it's a very tough format, had us to lose to Real Madrid and draw at PSV and finish 5th
@@ryanmurphy7976 I honestly don’t think he starts for any other premier league side. His corners are excellent but honestly he is so bad at everything else in my opinion!
lets be honest, Szoboslai was awful. His touch was poor which had him stretching for every pass which was undercooked, his passing in general was so unimaginative, he received the ball so mant times in the half space in final third and rather than turning and creating danger he would bounce it back (often an overhit pass back). Treated the ball like a hot potato. However, I do think he has a lot of talent but he struggles to put it together.
