I loved this tutorial, great info, I would like to see more but I love when you show new things too.❤
Thanks for you input!
The music you play is very calming. Love it
Oh, me too! I'm glad you like it!
The Confident Stitch patterns and kits are amazing. Kate at The Confident Stitch has a gift when it comes to combining colors and fabric lines. Her curated kits are always awesome. She also does a lot more than just quilts….you can find excellent fabrics for clothing ideas as well. She puts out a packet of “swatches” several times a year where you get a small piece, usually 5 1/2” square of each fabric the curated bundle that totally coordinate. I love her stuff.
Thanks for sharing. This quilt was the first I had heard of her!
Beautiful quilts.
Thank you! 😊
Just so much inspiration and ideas. Just discovered your channel. Awesome.
Welcome!! Thanks so much!
Such beautiful quilting Tammie. Your customers' quilt patterns give me so many ideas. Thank you.
I'm so glad!
Love love love Sandy's star quilt. Beautiful choice of fabrics!
It was beautiful!!
Like sunflowers!
Oh wow ❤ the gingham quilt with the sand minky is gorgeous!!! It looks like patterns actually drawn in wet beach sand on the back- I love it 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Two artists together, nothing better!
It was scrumptious!! Thank you!
Beautiful quilts. I just love them all! The pantagraph choices are perfect. ❤❤😊
Thank you so much!
Your videos are so full of creativity and information. As in a couple of the other comments, I love the gingham quilts, and the use of Cuddle, which I like to use myself. What I really enjoy is seeing the various patterns, and how the fabric choices affect the look of the quilt. Many thanks to you Tammie, and your very creative customers💗
You are so sweet! Thank you so much!
The gingham quilt with reproduction fabrics, is stunning. My favorite! Looking forward to seeing your spool quilt completed.
Thank you so much!
Oh boy, this video really enabled me!! LOL. What a great video with such gorgeous quilts. Thanks so much for sharing your time, knowledge and talents.

Thank you so much!
Always lovely quilts and detailed explanations. Sounds like youre going to have a busy Thanksgiving...be Blessed❤
Thanks so much for watching! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
I agree that both pantographs on the scrappy baby quilts are wonderful. Thanks for linking the pattern and info on Sandy's quilt. I need to check that out. I also adore the quilt from Primitive Gatherings with low volume background❣️ It just speaks to me. The quilts in gingham patterns are gorgeous too. I may need to stop watching your videos. I won't live long enough to make all the quilts that I added from watching! I absolutely love the quilting and the feel of a minky back. Your quilting is always beautiful, Tammie!
I'm in the same boat - there is no way I can make them all! But it's fun trying! Thank you Marsha!
Thank you for sharing. Your videos are awesome!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Beautiful quilts and quilting!
Thank you! 😊
Hello, Terry from Ohio
Hello neighbor!
Another great video. Such great choices for the pantographs. I just completed my scrappy spools quilt, thanks to you. You inspired me to start it and follow the fat quarter shop schedule. Made it very doable. Not overwhelming. Thanks Always look forward to your videos😊
Such great news!
Absolutely beautiful quilts and beautiful quilting patterns. We here in Johannesburg are heading for summer and it's also our rainy season. Our winters are dry and we have already had some lovely rain.
Welcome! Thank you for watching!
First time viewing your video, but not the last.
I have subscribed and look forward to more videos
You are so kind! Thank you!
Thank you for your delightful channel! I have a question: Have you ever used a microfiber blanket for quilt backing? It is similar to minkee, but comes in wider sizes. When I use a blanket, or minkee, I always use batting for all the reasons you give. Makes a lovely quilt. Thanks again!
I have not used a microfiber blanket. Perhaps I will try soon.
Could you incorporate the left overs into your quilt back. I love interesting quilt backs. I love simple square quilts ❤
Great idea!
Can you hand stitch a binding, if you use minky on the back?
Yes, but you will need a sharp needle.
Hello Tammie Earnest, Sandy’s quilt, “ Triangle Gatherings” would you know what was the finished block size and what size HST papers was used? Thank you!
I reached out to Sandy and here is her reply:
"This quilt-along is still ongoing since Lisa is making many more stars and a much larger quilt than I wanted. There are also multiple block sizes to choose from.
The block size I chose was 8". The HSTs are 1 1/2 inch unfinished (1" finished). Since I didn't have any of Lisa's HST paper, I used Fat Quarter Shop's triangles on a roll.
I'm including a link to Lisa Bongean's website. Once on the website, click on the Quilt-Along tab at the top, then scroll down to the Twilight Stars Quilt-Along block. Lisa has information about the quilt-along and there are selections for 4, 6, 8 and 12 inch blocks. Each of these block sizes show the layout, number of blocks, dark fabric and background requirements, and approximate size of quilt with a border. It also provides information on the size of the triangle paper needed.
Link to Twilight Stars QAL Info page:
lisabongean.com/qals/qal-twilight-stars/
Link to 6" block information:
lisabongean.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/CHART-6_-block.pdf
I would recommend that she purchase the Triangle Gatherings book. This was one of my best purchases. It shows 100 different layouts of the HSTs - it takes 16 to make the 4" (in my case) finished inner block. There are no directions included, although it does show multiple layouts but only the first one provides setting instructions."
Thank you so very much for this information, very helpful. I have ordered the book, fabrics and Triangles papers. Happy Thanksgiving!🦃
That’s wonderful! I’d love to pictures once you’re done!
Does quilting with the minky background throw off your tension?
No. If anything, it helps it as the quilt sandwich is a bit thicker and more room for those threads to meet in the middle.
