Great explanation! I am confused between App connector in azure and Cloud connector in azure, can not find diffrence in documents. can you please tell about it? also cloud connector is mandatory for ZPA deployment in azure
Cloud connector is a VM machine which can be deployed in a cloud to provide ZIA & ZPA services to your workloads. If workload is communicating from private to public network then ZIA service will be used and for private to private comm ZPA service will be used. It is required for workload communications deployed in multi-cloud or private cloud & public cloud. On the other hand, app connector only provides ZPA service. I hope this makes sense now.
@@ngcloudx Thank a lot for explanation! I am going to deploy ZPA for private connectivity from on-premises to azure. For that do i need to deploy both cloud connector and app connector or only app connector will work?
@@ngcloudx OK sir. Thank you. I am trying to deploy it on azure but stuck how to define routing if I use transit vnet concept and deploy app connector in that

If your applications are in different subnets, then you need to ensure that app connector should be placed in a subnet through which all other application subnets are reachable.
spin app connector in aws, establish connectivity between app connector and s3 bucket. Configure App Segment for S3 url and define user access policy as per your requirement.
@@ngcloudx actually the bucket is KMS encrypted and allowing access to only specific set of IPs I tried creating app connector and app segment for s3 and whitelisting connector IP in the bucket policy but still getting access denied error.. though app segment log at ZPA side looks clean Can you suggest how to check connector connectivity with s3 bucket ?

How to configure zpa for accessing private s3 bucket ?
