Brilliant video, simple to follow. I recently lost connection between my data logger and WiFi. A similar video explaining how to reconnect would be great.

When I tried this using the app, I found that only part of the information was uploaded, although, enabling the charging operation, the set times on the app were correct, but the times on the actual inverter were different. The only way I can set the times correct is by entering them through the inverter itself. Not a difficult job but for the first night it meant I charged my batteries using peak rate. However, charging my batteries overnight on my off peak tariff for use during dull winter days is a definite plus.🙂
Fantastic video. I had been led around the houses by other videos that hit dead ends with missing menus etc on how to do this but you explained it beautifully. I have two Pylontech 3000c batteries. I set to charge at 37A. Is that correct? Thanks in advance!
I have two questions about the Time of Use Charge/Time of Use Discharge - 1. Do you need to change the settings from 50A? 2. The solis Europe UA-cam channel has a video saying the Time of Use Discharge should always be 0 - are they right or is there a reason to do it differently? Who should I contact for support on the Time of Use settings?
Hi, thanks for watching our video - the best way to check if you have the latest up to date app would be in your devices app or google play store (depending on which device you have) - we hope this helps 😄☀
@@greenscapeenergy This bit was clear in the video thanks. What wasn’t clear is that you may also need to raise a support ticket with Solis to get the right access added to you account. I found this from googling to find the guide you reference. A link to that guide in this video’s description would be helpful.
Make sure you read and understand what you are agreeing to before you accept the "conditions" . If you want to continue after that, you may find it easier to make changes by using a web browser on your PC or laptop and signing into your account that way
I've made the recommended change, but is it guaranteed to avoid the batteries going in to hibernation? The e-mail says that the overnight charge will help to keep the battery cells active and by doing so a small amount of heat will be generated to keep the battery running through the coldest periods of the night. It isn't however clear whether the objective is for the battery to reach full charge during the night, or simply for the battery to receive a charging current for a reasonable period of time. If it's the latter, this might not have worked well last Saturday when a cool but clear and sunny day was followed by a cold night. My batteries were at about 85% charge when I went to bed ,so would only have received an extra 15% charge from the grid during the night.

When can we expect the possibility to control charging based on the current market price of energy? NOT time, since the marketprice of energy is not depending on time.
SIr i have a question . i am using led acid batteries 185ah with my solis 8kw inverter . as soom as PV and Grid OFF my battery sign and app showing that batteries decrease to 50%with in 2 minute , even without any havey load. but when i checked battries voltage by volte metter it was showing a diffrent reading to me ( like its showing the battery still have 99% left etc,... ). local installer , even solis wants me to keep my battery charge current to 22A . plesae quide me

Wait, so if the suggested charge rate for one 3000c is 37A for two it should be 74A? Is that correct?

It would be great if you could add a link to the guide you mention for how to get the latest app?
