This trike has home-shop potential. Easy to hook a trailer to it, and if the trailer can carry a light-weight generator, and a gas can, and have a couple quality wheel motors so the trike motor runs cool, then no hill can really stop you. The crank axis could be moved up and forward so the ride is more recumbent, although the handlebars may need to come backward a bit. Similarly a wheel chair seat could replace the cheap post seat, and be moved back so maybe the trouble to move the crank axis is avoided (two good birds if you can do the seat adaptation to make it safe for handicapped user). I think having option to move the crank-axis is great, and it looks easy (aluminum welding skills) to make two extra positions. This bike could have a sleeping trailer and go cross-country as a test.

You are a life saver! Nowhere did I see to connect the cable from the display just the cable from the headlight. No wonder I couldn’t power it up. Snowing now but Thursday looks good for the first ride. Do you think it matters which way the axle goes in? I have it opposite of yours and the locking part in on the side closest to the brake calipers.
Actually the axle is the same as yours, I think e bike reviews channel did it the opposite. Just wish they could explain it better and have clearer pictures. But overall color photos in the instructions is a big plus

Good job on the review. If you don’t have a golf cart to run around the community the bike could do the trick with the basket’s and all. I just have to much stuff in my garage now. Definitely needs a parking brake. Can’t believe that didn’t put one in it.
Would be easy to buy a brake lever with a parking brake function and swap out on the front.
Doing the math on the rear basket, it looks like it would fit 2 reusable grocery bags side by side, or 2 paper bags from Trader Joes. With the front basket thats like a whole week's worth of groceries for two people.

If (*IF*) there is something I actually like more than my golf cart(s) it's my e-bike. I don't have an e-trike, but the e-bike I have (Juiced Bikes HyperScorpion) is actually a very capable (and fun) grocery-getter. As expected your review of this e-trike was excellent. I suspect you're going to get similar manufacturers requesting you to review their products now as this review was better and more thorough than most dedicated e-bike channels here in UA-cam.
I told my wife last night I would love to have an ebike. There are so many out there that look like so much fun! The 3rd wheel on the trike makes it awkward turning at any speed above walking, its just so top heavy. I like the fact that when I get tired of pedaling then I can relax and use the motor. How quick is yours? I need to look it up. I appreciate it.
@@Fentertainment Juice Bikes is re-releasing both of their HyperScorpion and HyperScrambler bikes any day now without the "Hyper" branding. Apparently they've been in a legal battle for years trying to stop other manufacturers from using the "Hyper" trademark and it was just getting too costly so they gave up. Both the HyperScrambler and HyperScorpion models are excellent e-bikes that despite their moped/"motorcycle" looks are actually surprisingly good pedal assist e-bikes (oversized chain ring, 8 speed gearing, both torque and cadence pedal assist sensors). The top speed on them is 30-35mph (depending on your size and the terrain, hills, etc.). The batteries are really powerful (52v/19.2ah) and with the HyperScrambler you get the option to be dual battery (so that's 2x 52v/19.2ah). I'm a pretty big guy (6'3", 250lbs) and I've had both regular-ish looking e-bikes (both regular and fat tire), cargo e-bikes, and this moped style e-bike (HyperScorpion) and the HyperScorpion is by far my favorite. I take it on regular bike rides with my wife (she uses a regular beachcruiser bike) and I'll also go throttle only on a grocery-getter run with it.
@@Fentertainment Juiced doesn't usually work with UA-camrs/influencers, but there are plenty of other manufacturers who will. I'm sure with your great channel and UA-cam history you can get multiple companies to send you their e-bikes in exchange for a honest review on your channel. Juiced Bikes are really good bikes, but there are definitely similar models out there from other "more cooperative" companies. With as well as you handle the whole golf cart thing, I have no doubt that you could also really be an asset to the e-bike community as well. Again, your review of the e-trike was excellent and I've watched a TON of e-bike reviews over the years.
How would that do on rolling hills? Where I live the roads can rise or fall 100' feet or more in a quarter mile. Does it have the torque to get up hills?
Review by Happy Tails does a climb test, goes very well. But over-heating on a long hill is to be expected...

The colors mooncool offers are puke ugly! Hate that Grey, blue, and the other damn near nondescript color. The burnt orange is best, then white. But it looks like a very cheap white porch paint.
