In reality, the entire landscape would've been so heavily shelled that no trees or tall grass would still be living. It would just be a muddy moonscape like the WW1 trenches.
Uh the Browning 30 cal is a light machine gun not a heavy machine gun if it was a heavy mg he would not been able to shoot it with out destroying his shoulder. Don't belive me look up the Browning 30 cal light machine gun.
Never understood how US army could loose in Vietnam if they had experience with fighting against Asian way of warfare in WW2 and in Korea as well if this game is even a little bit realistic.
@Lucas Johnson Vietnamese people also fought rather to die than surrender. The motivation might be one of the things: Japanese militarism vs. Vietnamese peasants and farmers who defended their own country and loved ones. I thought that North Vietnam had its own army on frontline to South Vietnam and US forces, but real hell was with Vietkong communist gerilla to seek them all around villages and jungles in South Vietnam? US army lads weren't experienced nor in WW2 nor in 'Nam, but my point was about US army officers who surely had experience with fighting against Asians in jungles, caves and tall grass. And yes, you're wrong, Japanese used guerilla tactics as well, I think it's obvious.
Because the IJN and North Korea army are organized military that used more conventional tactics and were fight wars for ground. The Vietcong were guerrilla fighters and it Vietnam was more of an war of occupation (like iraq) rather then a war of territory

The darkness, the wet environment, and the screaming Japanese soldiers really show how terrifying it is to be there
A 1919 and a Flame Thrower. That's a lot of weight to be packing around.
You're a regular Johnny Rambo, Miller.
A single soldier carrying a heavy machine gun AND a flamethrower. Seems legit...
Adrenaline

How does a bunker made of mostly wood not catch fire
When the US landed at Okinawa it was monsoon season and it rained nearly everyday. It's plausible that the water logged wood didn't catch fire.
@@liltoaster7308 You are correct.
Best Call of Duty ever!! ❤️

@Lucas Johnson Not to mention that, like Afghanistan, Vietnam had more experience fighting foreign invaders. America was just the latest
