utterly unfair how good this is. the floating, decentred chord movements! the sound design! ulla does things with a guitar that I didn't think were possible... and then the last track leaves you exhausted, demolished, exhilarated. lifechanging music

I return to this album almost every week. There is something about the percussion, the distance between the hits that leaves you wanting more, but just gives you enough to fulfill the desire - something that is also reflected in the timbre, a distance, like watching a landscape from afar. A very subtle album, cleaver and soothing.

Same here! I wrote my masters in design before christmas, and I think it was one of the hardest things I've done. Probably especially because of being isolated from the class and everything, dragging the project all by myself. I will remember the way this album, and many other ambient-records helped me calm down and eventually focus.

This was my soundtrack when I was preparing my paper submission during my Masters (it also serves as the soundtrack again when I was writing my Masters thesis).
It was a difficult time for me during COVID and this album provides a sense of solitary serenity that helps with anxiety while being a nice backdrop for deep work. Maybe that's why this album in particular attracts Masters students of all people :P
