In Japanese folklore wood had the ability to seal and contain powerful monsters and demons so that's the basis of why harishama wood is so powerful and there's another reason that the show sorta indirectly tells you later on
Hashirama's wood style ain't just regular wood. It has the unique property to absorb chakra and works particularly well on tailed beasts. His gracious deity gates isn't just wood, it is a really high level sealing technique which he also used to literally pin down the whole ten tails. It was logical for him to assume that it would work on obito but as you saw it didn't

Yea basically Ten Tails was taking Obitos consciousness and who he essentially was. And it was working until it meant also losing he memory of Rin. So as he fought to keep the Memory of Rin also cameback the memories of his team as is shows with the full picture coming back together. So basically he needed something to root himself and who he was so he wouldn't lose himself to the ten tails and it came in the form of that
Its basically his memory. He was ready to erase all the memory of his except for Rin. He was able remain himself by not letting go of the memory of Rin
I think it's that that picture means that deep down in the core of his soul he still cares about his sensei, kakashi and rin and yeah as you said it's that picture that still makes him who he is

The hand signs for Outer Path - Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique (Gedo Art of Rinne Rebirth in English anime) were Ram (not shown in flashback) and Snake, while the hand sign that Obito used for the jutsu to become the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki (Six Paths Ten-Tails Coffin Seal, unnamed in the anime) was Mirrored Ram.

Obito's spheres are somewhat like the Tsuchikage's Particle Style but not exactly. Maybe in the core function, which is desintegrating things, including chakra. Unlike kekkei genkai, which is a combination of 2 chankra natures, the Particle style of Onoki is Kekkei Touta, meaning is a combination of three natures. Obito's spheres are Six Paths power, and is a combination of all five natures plus shadow and light styles. It's way more than anything we've seen so far.

Sasuke gets the Rinnegan later as well, but he couldnt float.
Even tho Naruto could. The only thing that made him able to fly was the Susanoo.
But without the Susanoo, he had to grab Naruto's leg in order to not fall in to the lava.
@@Raffalius I guess it's because you need both eyes to be able to floating like Madara and Pain. Obito with one eye couldn't floating either until he became a jinchuuriki.
the pain body that was yahiko was only able to float/fly because he was using his rinni power of push/pull technic remember

I'd head-cannon that, as tress are mostly tubes for sap and other things, wood-style would be very good at manifesting dense concentrations of chakra and that might be why it's useful for either supressing, or maybe draining, other energies.
It's a bit premature, but could I suggest, as a series to follow Naruto, either: D.Gray-man, Hitman-Reborn, or Trigun.
Wood Style comes from the Divine Tree that's why it's so powerful

No you got it right Obito was being torn apart on a fundamental level but refused to allow rin to be taken from his mind pulling back his mind and taking control and as for his feelings about Kakashi and Minato he doesn't care about these versions of them because the infinite tsukuyomi will create the perfect world where he will get another chance with them and Rin together
Obito wants to become the caster of the genjutus so he can’t get another chance with his team since the genjutus the won’t influence him the same as the casted.

@@mr.protagonist5639 It’s for peace. He mentions to Kakashi how the world is flawed because of the of hierarchy of shinobi, Rin died because of these flaws. It’s also the reason why children like Obito, Kakashi, and Rin were sent to war. During the third war Obito told Kakashi he would crush this so called shinobi, and in other flashbacks when Obito is much younger he does mention about wanting to end war. Madara entrusted Obito his name and also gave him the title as the savior of the world. Obito made a speech to the Kages about wanting to become the uniter of the world to end bad blood, and when Obito and Naruto have a conversation together, Obito mentions how he’s leading mankind to salvation.

Yeah in case you hadn't noticed, Minato is not very good at coming up with names.
He invented the Rasengan, which is a sphere of spiraling chakra, and he called it "spiraling sphere". That's like if the Kamehameha was called "blue laser".
Then there's that long ass name he just tossed out.
He tried to name Naruto and Sasuke's combination attack and it was so bad even HE said it wasn't a good name.
Then he named NARUTO, and he just named him after a character in Jiraiya's book and even JIRAIYA said he just picked that name basically at random while eating ramen, not thinking about it at all.
Minato and names don't really mesh that much. Naruto clearly inherited that to a degree, he DID call his big rasengan BIG RASENGAN. Odama means "big ball". So he's even being redundant.
Contrast that with someone like Kakashi, who invented one jutsu, where lightning covers your hand and you punch someone. And he called it CHIDORI which means 1 thousand birds based on the high frequency chirping like sound emitted by the jutsu.

The black orbs are called Truth-Seeker Orbs and contain all chakra natures plus Yin Release,Yang Release and Yin-Yang Release and when imbued with Yin-Yang Release it nulifies any and all ninjutsu. If someone doesn't have Six Paths Senjutsu and gets touched by them they will get desintegrated.

The wood style is not explained well in the anime. It's not just that he is creating wood. Wood is alive unlike fire, water, earth, lightning, ice, lava or any other element that we have seen. The First Hokage transforms his chakra into life energy which by means of using earth and water creates his wood style. Now this new type of chakra also has the means of suppression. Anything that comes in contact with it is having this suppressive force applied to it. The wood itself isn't that strong. It is the chakra that is being poured into it that is. Because the tailed beast are just masses of chakra they are vulnerable to it's forces. There are technically 6 basic elements in this world. Fire, water, earth, wind, lightning and Shadow/light as they those two are really one thing. Neither can exist without the other. Long ago when the show tried to explain this there were mistakes in the translation. Choji's family uses shadow while Shikamaru's family uses light in order to create those 2 special types of chakra that we see them use for their families jutsus. It is not a kekei Genkai as it is still just one type of chakra, however it is rare. Aside form these 6 elements there is also yin an yang that exist within all chakra regardless of what ever nature it is. If your looking for accurate info on the abilities in the show use the manga or the data books. In general a google search will provide incorrect info. The many video games also have had a poor history with the lore of the show.
Its such a quick moment but naruto basically goes whoa, and then minito say don't freak out and always be watching, then it goes to sasuke who's not freaking out and watching intensely... Sasuke had a dad as his first teacher...

Wood style being so strong has something to do with the fact that its the only one that is life... I wish they would give an explaination, like its technically sage chakra or that once its started it spurred on by its own growth from natural energies or something...
