Keith I grow my Nidifica on the warmer side of the greenhouse, don't worry about the natural divisions they all do that but I would have more or less filled the pot with media to allow new roots to make contact with the media as Nidifica is another massie that has a tendency to creep over the surface and new growth can come from the leaf joints pushing out roots higher up the plant and can dry out quite easily. I've had that problem before myself.Hope you don't mind my suggestion.
I don't mind at all, Mick. I'm happy to learn from more-experienced growers. Now that Spring has sprung we'll be spending more time in the conservatory so I can keep a closer eye on the plants, too. I'll take particular care to keep these moist and will see if I can add more media without swamping the base of the plants.
I have one that was growing just fine, looked happy. But recently started to loose all its leaves. So I took off the spaghnamuss it was in and transfer it to a mixed bark. Not sure if it will survive. Any tips? Thank you
I have used fine bark, spagnum and perlite for mine. The nidifica isn't a healthy plant by any means but is trying to grow. I think things improved when I put its saucer on gravel so I could add water to that and increased the humidity. I'm no expert - except in killing them - but have a look at Mick's Masdevallias YT channel snd ask him. He is an expert.

I only have one, Masdevallia barleana. It grows well but never bloomed for me. I hope your will bloom soon for you. They look very healthy 😍
It has bloomed since I got it but the flowers didn't last very long. They're tiny, matching the plant's size.

Three good divisions there Keith, Masd nidifica is a mini-minature sized, warm to cold growing epiphytic species (Travaldo's blog), good luck!
It seems happy in the conservatory at the moment but it hit 29C in there this afternoon so I may well have to start moving my orchids around again.
Estas son las q luego venden a precio de oro en eBay 😂
