I remember that day like it was yesterday! So much fun and such amazing musicians! Lots of great things began that day and with much thanks to many people including, Barry Hirschberg, Pat Coster, Mike Cerratti, Margarita Estevez, Evita Ladson, Jeff Lowy, Liz Hirschberg, Neil Ceppos, Eddie Germano, Sylvia Rhone and the list goes on and on with too many people to thank but you know who you are!! I AM SUPER GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF YOU!

The above paragraphs that were written and presented by one of the original writers of the song detailing the instruments and musicians is quite fascinating. I like both the disco compilation version and the Buddha version not realizing that they were separate recordings I thought one was just a different mix of an original tape. anyhow it truly is one of my favorite songs. glad you were able to divulge all that information since you were first hand involved.
I do have several copies of the Buddah promotional 12in cuz I love the sleeve with the smiling chubby Buddha and the whole packaging is so iconic to the era. Even though Buddah records did not commercially issue their early twelve inch singles they were kind enough to put the long version on one side of the 45 unlike many record companies which didn't make long versions available commercially at all at that time. When people ask me why I love disco music so much it's most likely that I would UA-cam this cut and play "foxy Trot" by Life USA to answer that question

I'm an expert on Disco in this is a very favorite song of mine and yet there's so little information about the group and your collage presented during the music of Foxy Trot seems to show a lot of information about the group in some of its charting activity in record World thanks for all that

the information you provided and that short little series of Clips is much more than I knew about the group the Buddah label mix and the learn to hustle version seem to be somewhat slightly different

This group had an appearance in a 1975 movie called "Black Force" (aka "Force Four"). They performed a song called "Loving You Is So Beautiful." It's on YT. You can find a little info on their songs on Discogs dot com. Search for Life U.S.A..

Found your extremely informative history from seeking more about Life USA from their appeaance in the 1975 action film FORCE FOUR. Lovely stuff!
The band has a Discogs page, but its woefully lacking information. You should submit some of this vital detail there as well for the hardcore record collectors!
