- Naples is a city on the Gulf of Mexico in southwest Florida that’s known for high-end shopping and golf courses. The Naples Pier is the city’s symbol, and is a popular fishing and dolphin-spotting destination. It’s flanked by miles of beaches with calm waters and fine white “sugar” sand.

I'm from Northwest Arkansas. Lived here my whole life. 45 years old. I'm retiring in 15 years. I wanna' live in Florida. I've never been! A friend suggested Maples. He said it was less expensive than Destin and some other areas. All i want is year around warm weather, no cold! And affordable living. So here i am at this video. I love it.

Hah:) You will find all major European cities names in the USA. Some of the names used multiple times in different states. European settlers brought their country overseas to feel like home. I guess 🤔

This a great video of Naples, with sharp focus and beautiful colors, if you do not know the layout of the area...really needs to be edited again to follow the layout of the area. Keep 5th Ave and Central together, and beaches and condos in Parkshore and Seagate together, etc. There are distinct areas of the city which is lost the way the video flows.
Thank you very much. I wasn't trying to be consistent with the area layout. More likely with camera movement but that was my expression. I do not know Naples to much. That's for sure. Would love to spend much more time there.
I still prefer Hallandale Beach Florida more it’s a beautiful city with a growing communities and businesses and a good nightlife.🇺🇸❤

I love Florida but I hate the humidity and is too hot and too expensive. 😩
It is expensive for sure. Short visits are always nice though.
Florida is actually cheap to be honest cheaper than new york California Virginia Washington state just to name a few o and there is no state tax i might add

The ONLY thing worth seeing is the Naples Pier. The rest you can keep. Horrible high-rises....the whole area covered with houses...hardly any natural areas left.
I lived there from 1956-58....when Naples WAS pretty and lovely and undeveloped. It's now overun with housing developments, millions of people....makes me SICK!!!!

@littlehummingbird1015 I am based in Chicago but love to explore America as much as I can. Can't film National Parks with my drone, though, but I love to venture out and discover what they have to offer.

Currently live in the uk but heavily considering moving abroad in a few years (to somewhere with great beaches as I love the sea) and Naples, Florida is one of the places I'm looking at, it's gorgeous!

Why? I live in st pete florida. Been considering moving to Rotterdam or Paris.
@@chrisbiela Yes, it’s great place , but little population . No to much choices for jobs , high tax . Jacksonville is best place with everything in FL
naples can be fun, but coming from experience, when it’s tourist season everything is packed and the traffic is packed. just a heads up! don’t want you making any decisions without knowing ahead of time some of the cons :)

It used to be extremely affordable; however, the amount of people wanting to move here and inflation has driven the prices up. The affordable part of Naples in present day is no part of Naples.

Naples promotes itself. It is not hidden. I've been there a few times already and this is my memories - shared. I think Florida is overcrowded everywhere.

Far from the best footage of Naples and they might have picked a better day. Because on the Gulf side of Florida the water is typically perfectly calm and crystal clear. Nothing like in the images here as it was likely just before a storm.
Still; it doesn't change the fact that Naples is beautiful. I am sure there is better footage and much nicer water in the gulf. I take what I get. I respect your opinion, though.

I respect your opinion but my video is not a vlog or documentary about Naples, FL. I enjoy birds "eye view" of the place. Just different perspective to venture out. That is all.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don’t see a thing “beautiful” about Florida. Give me nature’s majesties: mountains, forests and waterfalls.
There is a beauty on every corner. Depends how you look at it. I enjoy all my trips and Florida has lots to offer but I am a nature fan. Colorado, Utah, California - this is what I would recommend for you. Got some videos from those states as well.

I help people find their perfect home here, and I can't think of one customer who regretted buying a place here. It' a very safe, healthy, happy place to be. Fabulous restaurants, too.

I have a DJI mini 2. Live in Naples as well. I want to do something similar to this but don’t know if I will get any hassle flying near downtown, near pier. Any precautions ?!
Wind, low flying planes that is first. I do not know how DJI Mini handles a wind. You have to check it out for yourself. Then runway limits a flying area. Study and practice. That is my advice.
The DJI app will show you where you can fly. Unfortunately, flying downtown and the pier are in restricted zones because of the airport.
