  • Remember CJ? He once was on top of the entire world with a #1 SMASH hit called "Whoopty". However, these days, his career is completely dead. He has literally switched genres, and his google trends/social blade graphs are on a never ending downward spiral. How does this happen? How can someone be so lit one year and completely gone the next? Well, sit back, grab a nice can of coca cola or whatever beverage you prefer, and watch as I demonstrate what being a fake gangster can do to your rap career.
Also I wanna thank Trap Lore Ross once again for his research, I used a lot of it on the part where I dissected the Baller Brims. His video "The Shocking Truth Behind WHOOPTY/ CJ's Gang Affiliations" was a huge help. Here's the video: • The Shocking Truth Beh...

For example, every AKA is different based on what college you go to but a universal rule is you don’t allow non AKA members to rock your letters or colors. From what I know the same applies to gangs. My point is these niggas are allowing these rappers to use their colors and claim to be a part of their gang for money and camera time. That’s it.

That's not that many, you basically named every rapper that can do it for anything near 10 years. Rock bands from the 1960s are still making money touring stadiums. Metallica has been selling out stadiums nonstop since the 80s. A mediocre not even that good rock band like Coldplay sells all over the world.

I can def see now "hats" referring to brims...
But sleezys referring to Sos? Naw, i dont think so personally.
Still think sleezys means their flags/bandanas

He was trying not if he really is. That's why he said he didn't know what Whoopty meant, so he can try to act like he didn't know it meant gang shit. It's also why he stopped drill music, he says it at the end, that he stopped making drill music because he doesn't want to be involved in that shit anymore or known to be in or at least around gang members. People hate him for being a fake gangster, but it's actually smart to stay away and distance yourself and get out the hood with the money you make from that music. He's also way more mature and developed than the people hating on him for being a fake gangster

I’m curious to see with Lil Mabu gets to that position. I know right now nobody cares that he’s a fake gangster, but one of his last songs where he tried being all serious and everything was extremely confusing for me. He was trying to act like he felt the weight of the streets, but I didn’t know whether to take it seriously or not because he’s never had that kind of life.
