Your videos are so great :)
I love the fact that the documentary crew agreed to film Michael’s movie 😂
I've thought that SEVERAL TIMES!
I mean, if I was documenting Michael Scott and he asked me to film threat level midnight, that’s like hitting a goldmine
Either he offered to pay them way too much relative to the task or they decided to throw him a bone sometimes. Either makes sense for this show.
You know, it never really occurred to me that the documentary crew filmed the movie. I just figured that Michael set up his iPad Pro or something like that and filmed it himself. He also set up a budget himself which we know because he said that blowing off Toby’s head was far and away the most expensive shot!
Michael choking Oscar gets me every time
Same! Genius

Can't wait to watch this later when I finally get to threat level midnight!! Lol
Thank you soooo much for this Chris :)
I don’t have an issue with Threat Level Midnight the movie, but my opinion is the episode is maybe a 3/5. The extreme growth Michael makes in this single episode isn’t believable given how little growth he made during the first 6 seasons-he did grow in small increments from time to time. I know we’re getting a transformation of the character as a overall season story arc with Steve Carell leaving, but Michael’s rapid change from how he viewed his own movie, something he poured his heart and soul into, isn’t believable. It is indicative of how the show changed from the first few seasons to the latter ones.

0:08 "This video's lighting brought to you by Serenity by Jan"...BABHAHAHAHAHA!!
I just realized the mansion was in his condo too. I always thought the last time we saw it was Michael Scott paper company. I never thought about where he shot those scenes either.
I also always yell, “Dammit Tobey not again when I see him reach for her leg.
I'm pretty sure Michael got help from the doc crew to make this. They knew the results would be amazing if they let him borrow it when they weren't using it.
13:20 wait was that really the same actor as Pepperoni Tony from “the merger”? Lol
Loved it! One thing we've been confused about is Tony being involved- he left before working a full day in the office. Doubt he cared to be in the movie😂 also, has anyone thought about how the screenplay they read earlier in the show seems more like a prequel? CZJ was alive in that screenplay so the movie would've been after that.
Tony took up acting after he was fired. He needed money and didn’t pay much attention to who he was working for when he applied for acting jobs. His character was going to have a lot more screen time, but Michael fired him again.
@@lostcauselancer333 ha! Yes... nicely done sir
Tony quit but Michael was mad and fired him!
I love your videos dude! I’ve been binging them the last 2 days so far, love your content, keep doing what you’re doing! :)
Under a MIKEroscope.
I’m not going to wreck your analytics by leaving in the middle of the video. I’ll watch it next though…
There was a character named Cherokee Jack in the film 'Red Zone Cuba' by director Coleman Francis. 'Red Zone Cuba' was featured on Mystery Science Theater and to say it's bad is something of an understatement. It's like a fever dream set to film, just less coherent and structured than a fever dream.
Have been bit of a Threat Level Midnight content rabbit hole binge. While there are no venues in the NHL currently, I can think of two long time original 6 teams that had a venue called a stadium and not an arena. Olympia Stadium in Detroit for the Red Wings and Chicago Stadium for the Blackhawks. IMO the bigger hockey gaffe is referring to a break as being a "half time" during the game played in the movie. A big hockey guy like Michael would know there is no "half time" since there are 3 periods of play, an odd number. The breaks are called intermissions; 1st intermission (between period 1 and 2) and 2nd intermission (between period 2 and 3), or you might call it just an "intermission" or "the break".
Fun fact: the actor who played michale Scarn was actually playing hocky. Taalented action star through and through!
THREAT LEVEL WHAT? MIDNIGHT!
The Scarn is one funky beat
I disagree about the Catherine Zeta-Jones part! I think that he had to stop writing her as his wife, because, as you said, the chilies episode was where the movie was introduced and it’s also where he first hooked up with Jan. And that started a string of relationships from then on that are represented throughout the movie. While Catherine Zeta-Jones is relegated to a dead ex.
Omg yes day made
Yes, the music is the litemotiv from the 3rd Jason Bourne movie.
I always felt that Packers line at the end of The Scarn dance was Michael wanting to get his tormenter to sat something embarrassing.
I'm crying from this one. Tears lmao
You are the greatest fan of the show !!!
