It still baffles me that there isn't a tank only mode
I mean we could have combined arms like what it is now and separate mode for ground only... not sure why they never decide to implement it, it's not like there is too few people to populate servers for both.

Or if you want combined battle. They can make it like the tournament. So the plane player can only play 1 planes and they spawn late

I like how Bo Time packed an Ystervark when he played the TOG, and went on a rampage shooting down planes with that awesome 20mm gun after getting relentlessly bombed by CAS
The Ystervark and Bosvark are a godsend with those guns, they really even up the playing field with how easy they are to aim. Not quite as easy as pressing spacebar like CAS, but the gap does close a bit.

In reality it was closer to 23 kph, but apparently the one at Bovington has a dodgy transmission and can only make 14.. so that's what Gaijin gave it in game.

It's a shame, the TOG would see much more battle activity and effectiveness had they made it go 23 km/h. It might not seem like a lot, but with its armor and gun, it would be a real killing machine. (Still kind of is)
You forgot to mention that the hull gun isn't a secondary and it forces you to carry 45 smoke shells. Making it having a higher chance of dieing
That's another reason not to use it
They need to do something about the planes, increase SP and a spawn timer. But if you just wait for the timer you’ll be kicked for inactivity to force people to play tanks.
One thing I like, is although it's got a low top speed, it easily maintains that speed despite any circumstances(going up hills and such) and it accelerates to it quickly. Btw, you automatically get kicked out of battle after a certain number of tk's, both of those bombers got kicked.

The only time a team will be coordinated is to make them as slow as each other lol
Those guys in Lancasters didnt left. The sail implemented kicking teamkillers from matches. So basically if you do more like 2-3 teamkills in a row it kicks you from the match and blocks your crew for about 10 minutes. Happened to me once and i swore to never use CAS in WT until the snail changes something about them.

If you can't use CAS without killing teammates you need to work on your aim mate
Just don't use CAS in general. Air RB and SB are there if you want some plane action
Hmh... If you were one of those players who ignored teammates for a massive bomb to get multiple kills, then that's on you.
BUT i do agree to some point the mechanic is flawed.... I once tried to bomb 7 enemys with a 2500kg bomb at Salt Lake and a Puma RUSHED them all and died with them. Of course he died too. I Never apologised. - A Puma rushing that many enemys near their spawn can not blame me for driving into that.
And that is the problem. Teammates can FORCE others to get kicked by driving into a large bomb. If enough die, you are out. Even if you did not WANT to kill them.
Don't know how to penalise teamkillers in another way though. Maybe one day gaijin will make some changes again.

The Togs gun is truly terrifying. Its a early ww2 tank with a cannon that could literally destroy any other tank in the world at the time and most tanks during WW2 for that matter.

it should be lowered to 3.7 imo
at ~5.0 anti air is kinda shit and wayy rarer since they can't pen any tank, and planes find cas food so much more easily
at 3.7 you still have some tanks that can frontally pen it and the tog's gun isn't that much better since there isn't any reason to have that much penetration

The TOG was not a pre ww2 tank. It was designed during the early years of the war by people who thought ww2 would turn into ww1 style trench warfare.

This looks like one of those tanks that actually benefits from "advancing in reverse", since there's so much metal between the crew/ammo that way.
And it's literally just as fast backwards as forwards
Nah, the top armor is so thin, 50 caps can bounce off the turret into the ammo racks and gunner if you go backwards.

Personally I think this tank is a curse and a blessing at the same time, I love it. I had a game yesterday where I needed help repairing, a teammate came to me in the last second of repair and got killed by enemy artillery. the game after that I managed to survive all game and in the last 5 seconds I got killed by friendly artillery
What I realised.. when somebody drops arty on you, you RUN!😂

You spend so much time just getting to the combat zone, that by the time you're there, someone's spawned a plane, revenge-killed their killer, and then see the biggest target in the game and obviously go for it.
I remember when the TOG was first released in world of tanks, had so much fun with that thing. It was a slaughter if there were multiple TOGs on one team since their HP pool was so ridiculously high

They should do restriction to realistic ground battles - max 3 or 2 air veihcles per team at the same time. Eg. Your 2 teammates are flying in a plane and 1 in heli you have to wait until at least 1 of them die to take plane or chopper. Problem is - there is too many planes at the same time - this would slow bombing down and players would be able to still fly.
There were so many videos where Dollar carries HE and never uses it. I have been blessed to see the use of HE. I love Dollar's Humor.
