- please leave a comment let me know what you think guys and gals 8) ! like I said in my previous video. • Gforce Arms, GF2P, 12 ...
any modifications to your shotgun magtube for shotgun itself, will void the factory warranty, as per Gforce shotguns told me in an email. I put the video on the tare down below in the description. if you have any questions I'd be happy to answer when I get time, I try to answer them as soon as I see them. so leave a like and a comment and enjoy the video thanks guys and gals! break down video.
• GForce Arms - GF2P GF3...
ALSO VERY IMPORTANT !! do not use vise grips or plyers to unscrew the mag tube! you do not want to crush the tube it's got to be done by hand I also used the new spring that came with the tube extension. I used a towel and my bear hands to break that puppy free. it's HARD to break free, but trust me if its oriented properly, Lefty Lucy righty tighty it will come off. you can always re add lock tite, I didn't want to try that because I didn't want to get it in places that glue shouldn't be at hahaha! anyways be safe take care.
Thanks for making this video, cheers!!
You're welcome! I said the same thing on another reply you sent, but I love the shotgun it's been amazing so far! I'll be doing a shooting video soon with the folding stock and everything else, I've shot I don't like $250 rounds out of it probably lil more haha flawless, without a hitch so I love it!
What kind of extensions work with the gf2p? I’d love to know.
@@Groovyunclefunk I just now seen this I'm sorry foe the late reply, Go to my playlists I have a playlist of just showith shotguns, if you watch the very first one, it has kind of a green flashlight green light looking thumbnail in the description gives a very detailed list of the,
part number and so on and where I got it from. 8)
Your instructions made me feel confident enough to add an extension tube. Thank you
Hey your welcome, I'm not very good at speaking on video it's hard sometimes for me to put my thoughts to words, but I did this because nobody else had a video on this gun, or tube extension. So I took a leap did some research and went with what I thought I could do. I'm glad it helped you that's why I put it up so people wouldn't have to struggle like I did with no answers. Take care and enjoy 8)
Awesome thank you for the mount !
Your welcome! I like being helpful when I can
I have a Tristar and added tube extension. I took the barrel off, stuffed a rag down the tube, clamp down the tube, and took a grinder with 80 grit. Much easier than cutting.
I didn't cut anything brother 8).
And clamping the tube is supposed to be super bad for the tube that's why I didn't do it BUT I'm glad yours worked out more then one way to skin a cat !
What TriStar did you have and what extension did you use? I've been wanting to add an extension to mine for 15 years but keep getting conflicting reports
Wish the stock tube had the same finish as the barrel and the extension. It looks kind of weird. Thanks for the video
@@dambroangling2828 you actually don't really see it because it's covered by the foregrip in this video I have it tilted to where you see it better, but when you're normally just holding the shotgun you can't even see that too dark normally
Nice video I like the extension you used better than the one I did. Awesome I'll have to pick one up now
Thanks brother! Great video btw what Camera did you use to film above you?
You don’t gotta take the barrel off, u could stick something down the barre about an inch or two and dremel/ sand the part down and then pull the rag/whatever u jammed in the barrel.
Exactly, I did it to make it easier for ( me) to each their own. 8) thank for the comment I appreciate it.
@@BUZZKILLJRJR didn’t mean to sound like i was talking to you specifically, it was just in general, more so for anyone considering doing this and maybe not wanting to remove their barrel. Thanks for the video !
Thanks m8 this will help a lot of people!
Good I'm glad I had to just dive in there wasn't any videos on this gun yet it's too new, so I'm the first I think haha! I hope it helps people.
And your welcome!
I'm confused. My extension tube from Gforce is hollow at both ends. There is nothing to keep the spring held into place. What am I missing???
@dmeskill2 is there threading on the outside of one end? If there is threading on the outside of one end that's where your cap should go from your old mag Tube before you put the extension on.
My mag tube extension is sealed off at one end, with threading on the inside so it can screw onto the old mag tube.
If yours is just a hollow tube open on both ends, one side should have an inside thread and one side should have an outside thread, for the cap otherwise you might have to send it back because it's incomplete or something I would have to see it.
My mag tube didn't come from G-Force I used the Stoeger brand mag tube for my extension BECAUSE g-force at the time did not have mags to tube extensions available so I used another brand that was compatible with the same thread pitch.
In the video that I pinned at the bottom of this comment is another video I did and it has all the information you need for the different mag tube if the one you got doesn't work. Good luck ask more questions if you need help.

Has any1 ever thought about what i did and just went to a homr depot pick up a longer plumber piping and just brought there mag caps to make sure it threads on and then just had 1 complete long pipe.
Many people have made slam fire shotguns, there is a few disclaimers tho,
It (should NOT ) be just (plumbing pipe), that can blow up because its notbmade to take pressure, there is specific (tube)
yes there is a difference between pipe and tube, tube is Generally structural made with no bead inside and higer quality materials. you have to use specific type thickness, strength, plus diameter.
It's perfectly legal tho under the constitution, BUT check local laws, they may cause some issues so check them firstly.
But as long as it is for you, and (you don't) sell it / trade / give it away, you can legally own a home made gun for personal and defensive use, it's awesome.
Also many shot guns single shot ones can be pushed for 100 bucks or less 150 max, just as cheap as making one today yourself. Time / material obviously
Mine wouldn’t thread properly. The stock mag tube cap screws on and off easy but the mag tube binds up
Man that sucks did you contact Carlson's? And did you order the right one? I might be able to help with your situation if you can get back to me on this 8)
I heard this gun is a clone of a Remington 870. I wonder if the magazine tube nut from an 870 sling attachment kit would work
It might you can actually order an adapter plate to use the different 870 stocks for the shotgun as well. So if the nut cap fits that would be awesome. There wasn't much research on these guns so I took what I could find and rolled with it and it worked out just took a lot of reading and watching videos. But if you don't take chances and try things you never know 8) good luck let me know an update I love hearing and seeing peoples ideas and upgrades. Take care brother!
Any update ?
@@notagunchannel the Remington 870 cap is too shallow and didn't have enough threads to securely screw on. I ended up getting an even more universal kit and drilled a hole in the cap and the swivel attaches there now. I also bought an Amazon flashlight and red dot sight 🙃🙃 it's pretty goofy but it looks cool and it was fun to work on. I know this shotgun isn't the best one out there, but I know it will serve it's purpose of the time ever comes
How many total shells will the gun hold after putting extension on ?

About your mag tube extension - for which model was it made for? Remington?
No, it was made for a Stoeger. Tho Gforce now has them now made by themf thier shotgun. When I made this video there wasn't a Gforce mag tube. so with it thread pitch and some questions, I got a compatible mag tube. I have all this information exactly what model number and where I purchased it from Carlton's choke tubes website with this exact tube ext, but it would be better now to get it right from Gforce.
Look at the description if you still want my exact tube or go to GforceArms. Com and check out the ones compatible with you gun.

Where did you get the fiber optic front sight. Please

@BUZZKILLJRJR I need one for my GF2P.
Where did you purchase the mag tube extension? If it was online could you provide a link to it if available
Link is in the previous video in my playlist with the green flashlight on, it gives a detailed description part number and for some reason the link won't work.i contacted them and haven't heard anything back yet good luck lete know what you find out I can help more if needed.
Do you happen to remember any other gun brands that their mag extension will work on the g-force gf2p other than the stoger mag tube? Wanted to see if I can find a 8rnd tube cheaper than the stoger ones.
I'm not aware of any other brands, sorry brother wish I could help
Also the mag tube is not a stoger brand mag tube.. it's a Carlson's brand mag tube that's compatible with a stoger and the GF2P.hope that helps?
Here is the description from my first video. the mag tube is a carlson's mag tube exstention for stroger brand part number(04513) shotgun M3000/3500 and P3000/3500,8 shot witch adds 3 more rounds. if you email G-Force arms they can give you the specs on what shotgun tubes are compatible with this particular shotgun.
Gforce now makes a plus 3 extension. Fits their turkinelli as well 👍🏽
Definitely, i knew they did, i actually made a video letting people know, that Gforce had all the things I had on my gun on thier website now, I'm going to say close to 2 years ago? Ish?
BUT thank you ! Just in case people didn't see the video it's nice to have other people letting people know that they have all the parts on their website now to make thier gun like I did.
Great videos boss!
Quick question is there any way I can purchase a front and rear sight on this model? If so… do you know where I can purchase them. T.I.A
So it has a dove tail back rail for adding optics for the back but as far as the front bead I had to get a hi viz but with the hi viz sight you probably cold use a ghost ring. I never used sights on any shotgun iv ever owned except the bead that comes with it.
Do you happen to know where I could find a longer barrel for this gun?
I do not, it can't shoot slugs either so I wanted to get a barrel that would shoot them but can't till Gforce has them available to buy. They said they will start having products soon so hopefully different barrels are on that list.
Kewl 😎
Can you do a video on the light and site accessories and were you can find those items ?
I did actually ☺️
ua-cam.com/video/h0vKCTy98GY/v-deo.html. Here you go, link is in the description.8)
could you please help us fellow owners of this fine budget shotgun???? a lot of us wanna find a pistol grip stock replacement for this shotgun, I’ve been looking for one, i would love a folding one, preferably side folding, NOT a vertical folder like the spas-12. Also a magpul handguard would be nice
Edit: I’ve read that these shotguns are basically Remington 870 clones, not sure if the stocks would be interchangeable
Yes they are close but you can't shoot slugs and idk about triggers or anything internal iv been looking at hardware for the pump and stock may just have to get one and try it see if it works.
Also you should get some. Tom macdonald in your life, I checked out your channel because I try and support people who comment positive I see you like rap you should listen to a few of his songs I think you would love it he's crazy good.
@@BUZZKILLJRJR why can’t it shoot slugs? I don’t care about changing anything internal, just interested in a side folding stock, a magpul moe handguard
@@user-hh4hc2lt6e it's a full choke barrel so it could get stuck or blow up the gun or all of the above could become a pipe bomb. One plus of that barrel is it will keep a a better group further away with buck shot and bird shot.
@@BUZZKILLJRJR uh... Chief, the gf2p, which I believe to be the one in the video, is improved cylinder bore and shoots slugs pretty well
Are all these guns full choke? I can not find anything in the manual and mine shoot a pretty loose pattern. I've also put severslugs through it

Most experts do not recommend shooting slugs through a MOD choke or smaller for the simple reason that some slug ammunition types could “plug” the barrel and cause damage to your firearm or could even be potentially harmful or fatal to the shooter. This is the PRIMARY reason we do not recommend shooting slugs through some of our models that come with a FIXED MOD choke-sized muzzle. Familiarize yourself with your firearm and the ammunition you are shooting! Shotguns are not like handguns or rifles. Shotgun shells can come in different types of pellets in both size and material, as well as different lengths of shells and velocity. I did the same exact thing you did but my follower keeps getting stuck and it’s all the way smooth down ?
Dang did you use the metal one that came with the gun or did you use the new one that came with the extension?
I have an idea once I hear back from you
Yes I used my original follower ?
@@aaronhernandez2918 I was thinking did you try looking and seeing if the threading was thinner Incase you took too much?also did you make Sure the new extension was really tight?not overly tight tho.
Yes it is pretty thin I think I might have took too much off
What is the name brand of the tube extension you bought?
Go in the description and check out the previous video, ua-cam.com/video/h0vKCTy98GY/v-deo.html
in that description I give very detailed parts and how too, 8) the link with no longer works but I even put the part number as it was on the website when I posted the video. it shows what other shot gun tubes it's compatible with, because or the thread pitch. If you have any more questions just ask 8) I have a playlist just for this gun as it grows haha
Can I use the same mag tube you used on a GForce GF3T?
I would think the
(thread pitch only) would be the same, BUT you might want to reach out to Gforce and ask what mag tube extension is compatible with your shot gun, the company is extremely nice and has answered all kinds of goofy questions I've had for them.
Also semi autos work differently then a pump obviously and I honestly couldn't say 100%.
I took a risk when I modded mine and it worked out. With that said the company that makes my mag tube probably makes mag tubes for your semi-automatic as well +3.
I don't know if the springs are different or what, but with a little research you could probably add some rounds to your semi-auto. So with all that said it may screw on to the existing mag tube but it may not function properly cuz the spring might be different I'm not sure. The link on the previous video to this one has the exact mag tube on my shotgun and will take you to the website where I got it you may be able to find your answers at the stroger company/ Carlson's mag tubes.
Where's the link for the extension
The link to my first video is in this description and all the other mods and parts are in that video description thanks for the comment leave a like if you liked the video and help it's much appreciated 8)
forget the dremel crap. use hacksaw, cut the ring off.
Maybe flat grind it, on a grinder put the grinder in a vise that way you can put the tube on it nice and flat, but a hack saw not good in my opinion. Hack saws tends to want to follow the threading on threaded materials I know because I worked in construction my whole life and have been a farmhandb lots of bolts in all thread and piping you name it. Hack saws like to cut an angle with a threading so I would not recommend a hack saw. Hell I'd rather use a file first. On smooth pipe or tubes a
hack saw sure, but like I said that ring is on the inside of the top of the threading don't want to take much material.
But thanks for the comment. I appreciate the views and comments!
