I can never watch any of these sitcoms from my childhood the same way again, without thinking about how much the teenage actors were being exploited behind the scenes. I hope that they're on their way to recovery now.
This and all the other tragic things videos makes me wonder: how many child actors, or actors in general, are in the business that even wanted to be there?
I would like to see someone do tv documentary about the dark side of disney channel like quiet on set the dark side of kids tv when it talk about the dark side of nickelodeon by Owen Kyle
Though I think what helped quiet on set was the fact that Dan Schneider was no longer a part of Nickelodeon so there was one less barrier to get over. Part of me feels the people who did this to these kids may still be a part of Disney
Celebrities are stereotyped so much it’s ridiculous, and when you start out young it just goes to show it’s not for the better. I truly feel for every single child actor. It’s unfortunate that it didn’t work out for some, but for others they’ve used their struggles as a means of helping others which is admirable. You can never watch shows from our childhoods the same again knowing how much went on BTS.
Fame and fortune just isn't worth it if your privacy is not respected and your mental health is constantly on the line. I continue to wish Jeanette McCurdy all the best in her journey towards heeling. It's okay for her to miss her psycho (literally) mother, but I personally think that it would be best to break that sacred bond between a parent and child to help with the whole healing process.
Fans are partially to blame. While some are good others don’t know the meaning of respect and privacy. They’re the ones that caused body shaming to grow into a big problem. Honestly and producers need to let go of perfection.
I feel so sorry for all the people in the world who gone through so much terrible things but we can't change the past but we can work on a better future for our self and for others
One off commercials seem like a safe bet. i feel like companies typically dont hire kids to be in a series of commercials anymore. And unlike nickelodeon they allow parents to be on set. so nothing inappropriate happens.
Part of me wished to be like these kids when I was younger. Though as an adult I’m thankful I had a mostly normal childhood and am sorry that these kids went through these things.
I don't pity any of them. They all got rich & most brought their problems on themselves. Also, Alyson Stone is not "they" that's stupid. she is "her" & "she"
I've said it before and I'll say it again...if you can't in good taste refer to a topic as a Top X, *don't cover it at all*. Stay in your bloody lane ffs
But this is what they signed up for. Blame the parents. Blame the mouse but it’s the same storyline. Desperate kids acting a ton of hours at low pay….getting “sucked into” their roles and given no time to develop a self-identity. While also given the constant shame of not living up to image and potential. Body shaming. Self identity crisis. Low morale. Becomes “Rebellious” late teens/early 20’s trying to regain their image after the Disney flair begins to soften. Fame has its costs. Some have come out better than others but it still has a LOT of bad things.
Fans are no better when it comes to body shaming. Part of the reason ridiculous body standards were set was because viewers only wanted to see what they viewed as pretty.

The industry needs to learn to let perfection go. Things don’t need to be perfect to be good.
I just learned about the Sprouse Twins Acting Career and now I'm watching this video with them as the cover pic
Demi Lovato had to stop Sonny with a Chance because of her issues , so Disney did So Random without her . I'm glad she's doing well . 😊
You definitely have to do a Nick one too
I miss Brenda Song since Amphibia and The Suite Life series
Happy thursday afternoon, Rebecca, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
Y'all forgot Christina Aguilera. The girl grew up with an abusive father, so she used music as a form of escape.
I’m so sorry they went through a lot. I guess I’m glad I didn’t get into ShowBiz at an early age.

Amazing video Rebecca from ms mojo of childhood of child star trouble life’s,fantastic job.

Great work on this video Rebecca ❤
I’ve always wondered how people could know their own identity.
The Happiest Place on Earth yeah right
11:36: dylan sprouse, cole sprouse, raven symone, miley cyrus
Why would people body shame Raven-Symone? She looks great, plus her coming out wasn’t something to hate about.
She's only famous because of the Cosby Show cause Rudy had her period
I grew up with Miley, Demi and Selena
All of their stories were hard to hear as an adult

You should on one with the Nickelodeon Stars next!
2:21 YOU were the problem dad ‼️
I feel so sorry for all the people in the world who gone through so much terrible things but we can't change the past but we can work on a better future for our self and for others
I think Bella Thorne needs a hug.
this is so sad 😭 😢
You should do a similar video for nickelodeon child stars
My childhood is now ruined, especially after quiet onset came out
The only real thing that can be done is get the industry to change to that it happens less to future child actors.
@@christopherbennett5858it sadly won’t

The big thing that needs to be done is to have the industry let perfection go.
Maybe try a Top 30 Greatest Post-Movie Spongebob Episodes
high school musical

Demi Lovato 🙏🏼♥️
Oh 😮😢
7:37 coming out ⁉️🤣🤣🤣🤣 you and everyone else in Hollywood 😂
Shoutout to those that have healed and I hope that haven't find peace. The industry is a dark place for people.
you done these stories before. You can't have ran out of new ideas for videos already? There is plenty of other stuff to cover.
Yet you stayed to watch

How does a kid bring abuse/neglect on themselves?
@@rachaelhargreaves3619 I'm not talking about abuse and neglect parts. I'm talking about everything else
