Old school versus new school? Does that imply hooked in unhooked? While hooked in you can land a trick with your kite, body, bar and board out of position. When going unhooked, you better know how to use your board, position your kite, place your body and control your arms/the bar. I have respect for riders that took the time to learn to unhook, learn how to use their board to control the kite and actually learn how to fly a kite without using the crutch of de-powering. I do enjoy watching people jump high and looping their kite, but I know the design of the kite allows them to do this as well as their ability. Give these riders a kite made from 2000 to 2004 and I'll bet they would be confused for a beginner. They probably would not have the technique to jump high and not be able to land a loop on a slow turning kite kite with real pull. Can you put out a video of "new school" riders on old gear?

Nice to see you guys having fun together! Wondering why Jesses arms are still attached 😮
I don't understand how Jesse's body can still take some of those landings. Miss him in the KOTA.
Insane jumps! (made a video myself on jumping). It's so inspiring to see these guys. Keep it up!
