Started following you a couple weeks ago from watching old demo and Roman videos. Love that you wrench on all your own stuff when you can. Also pretty fun seeing you bash the xmax. I've got a max and a slash. Wrenching is probably my favorite though.
One thing I love about this channel is that you show everything about running a monster truck 👍 your channel was actually the template I used for my channel so keep it up great stuff 👍
Can’t get enough of these wrenching vids! I got an idea maybe you can start an RC wrenching/tutorial series for stuff like cleaning and oiling the diffs, full bearing swap, servo upgrades and lots of other topics about the mechanics of RC cars.
I like to see these type of maintenance videos. Maybe film all the safty features front to back top to bottom that these trucks have too. Plus emergency shut off units. Thanks

That's crazy, I haven't seen one of those disassembled before. Definitely a few intricacies, but not too complicated. Had no idea you can customize shock shim packs as well.
Heck yeah appreciate you sharing, love my monster trucks, but I could only afford the 1/8 scale monster trucks remote control they are a blast to drive. Will catch you on the next one peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍
I like the coils just because you don't see them that much. Obviously teams should use whatever works best for them, but virtually every truck runs these so it's nice too see something different. Trucks using unique parts is becoming less and less common.
@@MONSTERJAMFAN86 Oh don't get me wrong, I love a coil suspension, especially on these newer trucks. Evo, Digger 32, Gunslinger...always great to see a coil shock truck. They still can get the job done.
Just curious, with one upsidedown is one shock controlling compression and the other rebound? I've been debating if I could make an adjustable rc shock work, but to get compression and rebound adjustment I would need 2 shocks. But just seeing the guts gives me all new ideas. Thank you for the inspiration. This is just so far beyond what I thought I would see. Your the best.
Yes I like these kinda videos. I can imagine that was nice n calm doing that shock work at home. But I bet its different when your at a show and you have to rush to fix a shock.or any other part on the trucks. Great video thank you for taking the time to make theses.

Funny thing, I’m actually going to a monster truck rally from an event called “western stampede” in West Jordan Utah this Saturday you could maybe come mike!

Why only one of the two shocks have compression adjustability? Would not cause a different level of compression between the two shocks and uneven stiffness?
Since you run methanol in your engine, do you flush the fuel system after every night and drain the tank to stop the fuel from absorbing moisture from the air? Also do put anything in the cylinders to prevent corrosion between shows?
honestly it's good he doesn't given the indie scene is much more fun to watch honestly plus it's far more lenient in terms of scheduling compared to how frantic FELD's schedule is which results in some guys not being able to get their trucks back to 100% in some instances
