That truck is super savable. Not rusted and no emissions crap to deal with is what people want now days!
Any ole timer could have that Pete rolin coal by next Saturday for a load
Yeah the only problem is that it's a hood truck with these fuel prices rising again nobody's going to want a long hood truck.
@@TxJacob713 shit hood trucks will.always be in high demand
Hello
@@tim-boratliff1528 ???,cf
You totally should keep the truck and restore it, it would be a awesome series
That classic deserves to be put back to work
Yeah true but pulling truck would bring some views😊
It would be of been a lot cooler if he would it up as a work truck alongside the blue 389 but whatevs.
Nice looking forward to see the finished product if your not going to sell or give any of the trucks away you need to start up your own fleet your building a serious collection of trucks.
I agree I was going to say the same thing!
That truck needs to be restored and put back on the road
Can't fix stupid. We know what will happen to it. Cab will be gone by tommorow
@@Steve.Vaught lmao😂
Don’t mess the hood up. Those mofos are freaking expensive.
Easy 10k plus used!
For those who really appreciate trucks, these guys don't appreciate trucks. These guys appreciate getting attention. Turning a Pete 379 sleeper that has restorable potential into a shortened frame with a day cab for sledding is ridiculous. All because an actual 379 day cab is too expensive.
White Collar, all the pieces about gone. Looking forward to seeing that. Good to see the positive news it helps keep me going on my projects. See ya in the next one Bruce. 73's
Hello
You should restore this one and make it you show truck and it will also has working stacks
You should definitely get this truck running and driving. I'm a over the road driver and I'm telling you if you fix it and put it on the market it will sell quick. 10k to buy it maybe 6-10 depending on what it needs sell for 50-60k easily. One thing I've learned is Peterbilts never lose value definitely put bigger tanks on it in my opinion
I agree, instead of spending a bunch money on some toy, invest a little put it back on the road for a sweet profit. You could call Tim Gentry and see if could make quick sale.
Hi is not going to do nothing he just talk and talk, destroy that truck for parts it’s a shame
@@nobs8124 Just waiting for the ole claw hammer in the ole fender treatment like the 900KW.
@George can’t do it 😭😭😭
@@nobs8124 Damn shame
Another project to be half ass done and then put in the back lot to rot..Going to make it a sled puller. 🤣🤣
Or put in the back and have it covered by staged tree branches or chalk paint. Lol
Keep it as is Bruce this is better then any new truck and looks way too good hack I'd get rid of white cabover u got enough stuff to build it as a good working truck
*Speeds backward down the ramp with no way of stopping quickly* "you should have told me to stop!" really shows character
Wham bam thank you ma'am.....No care, no responsibility.. :(
If someone was in the truck holding the wheel the bumper would still be nice. Send the truck to Tim so it doesn't get chopped up. Believe it or not a lot of people want the older trucks that aren't the computerized garbage that they're building today. You need to stop by and trucks to destroy.
And if Bruce lowered the truck whilst it was rolling off.
I hope he runs it off a cliff for you guys seeing yall cry brings me joy
You see I like people like you. You won’t let these old trucks just die in RIP and keep paying me and shit ton of money to put them back together.
Settle down Karen, it’s just a fukn bumper 😂😂
The bumper was already bent up Karen. That tim dude is a 🤡
Talked to Officer Dougal 👮♀️ he said he will come take a damage report on that bumper tomorrow afternoon
He'll probably get his camera man arrested by blaming him and the prior owners for it lol
That was painful.
Washing that grime is so satisfying.
I’m exited to see what is made from this truck.
Keep the videos coming.
Loving these daily/bidailly videos
Hello
That should be a good truck to fix up for your brother to drive when he gets his CDL
Hello
Hi
When towing trucks, dump the air bags in the trailer and take low laying objects off
this thing would look mean with a big ol cow/moose catcher on the front
This guy and the freaking sled pullin 😭😭😂😂
This poor 379 is just BEGGING to be released to someone who will actually give a shit and restore it to its old glory. Wtf am I even watching this crap for?
Cry
@@grievesg8407 #blowme
Bruce wrecks the exhausts, bends the bumper then moans because his mate left the window open.
I think the word DUMASS comes into play here.
Just don't get anymore sledgehammers around these trucks. I coodn't sleep last night worrin bout what you were gonna do to that Peterbuilt.
Pleeeeese restore! Such a nice truck
Bruce could break an anvil with a feather.
Yeah he’s a cowboy. Not an operators boot lace!
Power washing off the years of gunk is so satisfying to watch. You need to disconnect the power washer from the water supply, then pull the handle trigger to relieve any water pressure, then try to start it. It'll start.
You couldn't have stopped in time anyway!! Your fault MR. Wilson
I wouldn’t mind buying the truck and fix it🤘🏼🇺🇸
I was thinking that to but I don't have the money
1995 3406E Cats are noted for braking cranks. Make sure the replacement engine
You should put a coffin sleeper on it and make a cool truck out of it being its already stretched and make the white truck a pulling truck
Black Mold...Texas Tea....oh wait a minute 🤣🤣
man you should restore that old thing pleaasseee
Thats beatiful color like the two tone keep same color excited see you working on projects be good content tim
Awwww hell I should have known he was going to tear it apart and do something sideways with it 😢
He’s good at tearing things up😂
I can’t wait to see this truck done
Why did you part it out it would have been a fantastic rebuild/rescue
Maybe the pinched wastegate hose had something to do with the broken crank......🤣
Another good pre emission truck gone. Honestly stopped this channel a while ago, but keep coming across his vids thinking it's an old truck restoration, only to find him again. Unfortunately
Sorry that's on the operator for not securing the steering wheel Bruce
Becoming whistling Wilson more and more everyday
I had even jumped when you said spider right there @22:00 😅
Don't take this the wrong way but I see someone yelling and screaming lol a c15 is not a 3406e e models are pre 2000 motors a c15 is when 6nz became a thing and up till they stopped making over the road motors...to add you can exchange alot of parts from mostly all variants of them find a accert bottom end you push some boost through those
i was boutta say did this guy just say its a 3406e c15. lmao i didnt know they made those.
The C15 and the 3406E get confused pretty often. The 6NZ came out in 1999. Before that year was the 3406E. They are basically the same engine. The main difference was the 6nz had a better gasket setup for the front and rear mains. Cat just changed the name to C15 because they were wanting all of there engines to have a C identification.
If the truck is a 1999, it could have a C15 or a 3406E. From 2000 and up, they are all C15 engines.
Beautiful old dog...
Good boy pete, good boy.
I really think you should fix this one up man, not gonna say ful resto or any of that just get it up and going
This truck has a lot of potential, PART IT OUT!! 😂
Just for future reference if when you were unloading the truck and he had the front end lifted up, if you had to take and then pull the truck and trailer ahead the bumper wouldn't have got bent, just my thoughts. Bring it back to life boys. That would be the way to go, but then I'm an old school type. Best of luck on whatever you do.
a minute 42 in, already knowing somebody will take that seriously and carve a nice message into your Peterbilt
I love American Trucks Greetings from Germany
Awesome video glad see Ryan is at part of the video
Do a rebuild.. Like Tim. But make that into a flattop bunk.. Paint red make it your flattop 389 that's in the making it's older brother... 5ek..not bad engine.. Good luck
I really wish to see this truck rebuild again Bruce but this is up to you what do you need to do.Thank you for the video,it was interesting and also funny.Take care of you and wish you safe trips.
lol
Hey truck driver BRUCE unibilt badge means the cab and sleeper are 2 separate pieces......Just so u know
Ill buy those old stacks😂
Keep it as it is. Would be a good truck for your brother.
Take the pump off your pressure washer it is easy to do and then see if the engine turns over and runs most times it is the pump that locks up
Hey , fixing and putting it ready to run it’s a way to get more ppl to your Chanel
Bruce, have KT3406E from UA-cam build your engine! That’d be a great collaboration and he specializes in building CAT engines! Keep up the great work!
Not sure he would play well with Bruce
@@ko9446 we’d never know until they meet up!
Get ready to shell out the big bucks - the best don't come cheap....
He's another one of those destruction clowns. It's a shame he went from solid technical content to acting like he's a viral UA-camr that doesn't care about the equipment and destroying things.
Nice job on washing that truck 🛻👍👍👍👍
Hello
That Peterbilt is almost in the same shape as that Kenworth was if not worse talking about rust and mold I just love old trucks these are the trucks that we need to keep now just like the old cabovers and old peterbilts from the past that we can't find anymore this is our last chance to keep stuff like this it's good looking truck
The real issue with Kenworth is parts availability really. To get that truck back to doing what you’d like it to do and what you would like to have done with it it’s just not worth the money sometimes you just need to let old trucks die it’s getting hard to get a 3406e platinum kit anymore let alone a B model platinum kit. Plus the strip that down to the frame most likely have to re-rail it it’s not worth if it was an old needle nose it be worth putting those parts into it
Should of just lifted the front end, Then pulled the trailer out from under her. :D
@brucewilson If its a split fuel tank why not paint it black n put it on the white cabover? You were already talking about bigger saddle tanks and that hydraulic tank well there ya go
Wish you was closer I’d love to get them old stacks from you
Paint it Barney Purple and call it , Bad Barney !
That truck is actually in pretty good shape, with a few dings here and there .
Hell be nice nice to c it restored
I would like to see you get this Peterbuilt back on the road, it would be a beautiful truck.
Yeah understandable but thats boring both have there pros and cons but pulling truck sounds more cooler
Gladto see you doing something with this 🚚
You should keep it like it is That looks like c15 6nz best cat ever you should redo leave it like it is
We rock a '96 379 extended hood day cab with a big back window on the farm. I believe it's a 210" wheelbase
It would make it an awesome truck redone not parted out Respect from the UK
Welp...add an American Eagle 22-20" boxed bumper to the bill. Might as well add a drop visor on it, too.
Hey Bruce Wilson I wouldn't take anything off that 1996 Peterbilt I would fix it up and give it too your brother Aaron when you are away in the Blue Collar 2.0 getting some tractors in one area where you live and your brother Aaron can go and pick up more tractors in another part off the area where you live because it would be great seeing your brother Aaron driving up and down the road in his own truck instead off driving your truck Bruce.
Spray Nine dilution with a soft brush let that set up for 5 min you would be shocked how much of that black mold disappears
You need a good industrial steam cleaner I have one for sale but I live to far from Florida good luck I hope you do good on them
Would be nice to see it back on the road
Leave it the way it is and put it back together and put her back on the road nice truck it's hard to find why tear it down
I find if you spray the super clean on and loosen the dirt with a brush it works really well.
That was a good find, definitely a diamond in the rough. That is probably a 3406E 5EK, which were known for breaking crankshafts. There is good money in rebuilding these trucks and getting them back on the road.
Dude just clean it up, get it running reliably and then take it to paint, paint it the same as the new Pete. Let them be the twin sisters. The face of your company!
Too much work for old Bruce to fix an engine
To unlock the older peterbilt doors Peter built doors inside boxes youll need to push the key button in and turn at the same time
Hello
Fix it so you have a 379 that rolls coal
No he will turn the cab into a hot tub or something stupid like thst
It definitely has potential
He blames Ryan because he’s a spaz. Unreal.
Ur brother has lost alot of weight!!! That's great keep it up. And ur videos are the best bruce. Keep em coming
Hello
How beautiful is this truck❤👌
Great video bruce
I’m so ready for this build!!!!
I like this truck, I think its got some work left in it.
Can’t wait to see it transform!
Excited for the build
love all your videos Bruce!!!!
I love watching Bruce he is very funny and entertaining
Hello
Nice truck bruce
No big loss on the Smitty Bilt's bumper!!! Hunk of junk!!!
The both said ye haw at the same time 😂
Needs to be restored ❤
Fix it up and restore it then you can sell it. Would be a great series
Keep the truck they don’t make them like they used to be a nice thing to see Runnin save them all if you can😊😊
A lot good parts still on this truck surprisingly. You could tell the previous owner that left it at the repair shop absolutely beat the hell out of it. Truck was a beat up POS long before it sat at that shop lol.
keep the clips coming
Wow you guys unloaded it like a scrap yard 🤣
