@@ukimenustah26 Oh, wonderful. Yet another unsupervised child trying to act intelligent by saying something contrarian. (After all this time... just can't leave former fans alone, can they? And people wonder why I stopped commenting on Studio C videos, years ago.) Listen, you seem to be incapable of reading simple body language, which suggests either that you have a mental disorder that makes it difficult, or else you just don't get a lot of real-life human contact. So, I'll give you the benefit of a doubt, and try to explain this nicely. I made that original comment because I once knew Mallory personally, in addition to seeing her on stage. This sketch wasn't the only time I've seen her trying to disguise laughter. I know what it looks like when people do that, and I know what it looks like when specifically SHE does it. If you really need some evidence to compare to this, try looking up BYU Divine Comedy's parody of Breaking Dawn, called "The Day Dawn Is Breaking." Or Studio C's sketch "A Bold Hospital" (or whatever the title's been changed to now). Or the JK! Studios' "Don't Laugh" challenge. You'll see this same actress trying to hold back laughter, looking and sounding similar to someone trying not to cry. ... I'll refrain from what I was originally going to write here. Instead I'll just say, "The fabled Thnikkaman bids you farewell in the usual manner."
@@gnev1215 gotta be honest one of the best lines of Studio C. This whole skit was brilliant. "You know you want a cup, so make your wife warm one up." That's the kind of edgy stuff I want from Studio C, not the pandering humor they have now. Season 2 easily tops a lot of their seasons. I'm not sure if season 2 or 1 is better but it's close. It's real close.
This is what happened when my group presented our radio mystery show. We didn't have many of the tools needed for the script so we had to improvise and use our voices.
Honestly, I think that would be a lot more fun than using the instruments. It would probably be more challenging too, since you would have to concentrate on not bursting out laughing at each other
Thank you for making this a viewing and auditory delight. Your politeness and cough...less...ness(?) has helped over 5,000 people to enjoy this motion picture.
Maybe it’s like a haunted thing going on. The music comes out of nowhere, anticipating the arrival of the masked man on the elephant and the baby elephant (these are ghosts), and when the man shoots the BB gun, the ghosts display their abilities by making the BB gun to eerie impossible things? Yeah it’s far fetched but it’s the only way I could begin to make sense of it.
Spot on! How did the actors prepare for this? They got the sound of 40's radio acting down pat. My dad has an obsession with old radio, so I grew up listenning to the real shows. I thought I'd need real stitches after laughing so hard the first time I watched it (ok, so maybe I've watched it more than once...like every day since I first saw it ;)). I was sure I'd cracked a spleen or something. Can't wait to show it to my dad.
+scrap preraph Yes they did great job with the sketch overall. im a lover of old time radio too and enjoyed this sketch. they really got that 40s/50s radio vibe going on, sounds authentic. And is one of their funniest sketches IMO. I seen it for the first time right after their famous Scott Sterling vid, and have seen it a couple times since and it still cracks me up today. Studio is one of the best sketch shows on UA-cam right now and can rival SNL and MADtv, but its gives more of a Whitest Kids You Know(2000s) or MTVs The State(early 90s) vibe. if you know those shows.
Top of the stairs, it's so high! Stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs, rolling down the stairs, rolling down the stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs, shoo! *Plop* This is probably my favorite sketch of all time!
This was brilliant! Mallory was awesome!! btw, the folly artists really did have things that Mallory used. I've read that the folly art is now all digital.
Oh me gosh...my name is Campbelle...so at first when he said "sponsered by," and then they said "Campbell" and I was freaking out intill they said "soup"
I’m an editor at byu- this was my first week on the job. If anyone has seen the show “artful”, the end credits are the same song that plays here “in the wind”!! I thought I recognized it from somewhere!!
This is one of my favorite Studio C sketches EVER!! Oh my gosh - the whoopee cushion gets me every time. Literally makes me laugh so hard that I cry. Mallory you are amazing!
I saw this and immediately thought of Frasier, who did a similar episode back in the day. Niles really shined in that episode. I love these old radio time sketches, episodes, etc.
the elephant noise was actually good
thats what i thot
I thought it was an actual elephant
mama
Phhhhht mama!
Pfffft mamma
I never noticed before, but Mallory breaks character a little bit at the very end. She almost starts laughing, but disguises it as crying. Heh heh.
Ur right she does! I watched back and hearing her almost laugh made me burst out laughing
this isnt the only one. all of the charectars have at least once started smiling but then covered it throughou the sketches
no she wasn't

I just saw this comment when I saw that part, I'm shocked

Listened with my eyes closed for authenticity
Good idea
I'm now gonna watch again with eyes closed
I learned something. Whitney's shoes fart and Matt has heart problems.

It was so cute 😄
I died when she said that! I was caught off guard 😂😂😂
it was sooooo cute 😍
SLAM I mean LOCK THE DOOR IS LOCKED
*lock it, it’s locked
And thus began the start of Mallory's comedy career
"Stairs, stairs, stairs, stairs..."
Omgosh this is my favorite one!!!! Pls post more!
Um... she meant panties.
Did anyone else stay quiet when they told the audience to be quiet? I literally had to cough the whole video, but held it in. Your welcome.

Cloud Blockscus I am glad I could help.
Were you in the studio for the live filming? If so, LUCKY!!!
J Dawg 25o sorry. We were just joking XD
Allison Marshall Eh, thought that may be the case. :P
Person: wow, Mallory's character was so dumb!
Drama kids: *envious of how much she persevered with dat improv*
I KNOW RIGHT
Yeah its not the characters fault the table feel over she just was trying to preserve the rest of it
LOL I STAN HER -
U guys do realise that the table falling WAS part of the act?
Does anyone notice how the story makes absolutely no sense at all?
It kinda does, but it doesn’t if you think about it too much

This should be one of their million views videos! Hilarious! Also Bad Extra should have at least a million views! And the first Sidious one!

It was 20s/30s Not 40s/50s

The “mama” part gets me every time haha
The elephant noise was good, but the baby elephant baby noise was just on point.

Mallory almost breaks character at 5:37 while making the fart sounds. Mallory *_NAILED_* the act!!
Here I thought Studio C couldn't get any better.
One I my new favorites!
Not looking at the screen and just listening enhances the humor even more!
I love how Mallory finishes with the popping noise and her expression is like "yes, saved it"
I don't understand why Studio isn't famous. I mean, it's clean, fun and AMAZING!!
Why is Matt so good at that voice? Like it’s so natural and not overdone and just... 👏👏👏
I wonder how this would be if the sounds were right
This by far is one of my favorite videos by Studio C!
