I love the way you take it all in your stride Lina. You give me so much confidence as a returning driver after many years away, thank you. Keep posting the vlogs, you inspire old farts like myself as well as the youth.
This brought back memories, i live in Porthmadog and i drove most weeks from Holyhead with trailers from Ireland. I also used to go over mostly on Irish Ferry's to Dublin and travel up to Oldcastle. I had to finish 3 and a half years ago due to heart problems, i drove for 38 years miss the Scottish and Irish trips the most.
Hey Sweet Lady, hope you're doing well! Back when I was driving, and I had my '74 Peterbilt 359, with the extended hood, 120" in. sleeper, and a 600 hp Cat, the only time I liked driving with the seat all the way down was when I was out on the open highway! When I was driving in town, I liked it better with the seat up, because I knew I could see the front of my truck, and I knew where the fenders were so when I went to make a turn, I wouldn't knock one off!...🤪😂 My truck had a 300" in. wheel base, and sometimes I would have to get into some pretty tight spots, especially when I was hauling oversized loads on my dropdeck trailer, but you make it look so easy, like you're sitting there in your easy chair in your livingroom at home! Not to mention you look totally adorable doing it!...🤗💖😘😘😘 Also, I know that sometimes you drive with your camera pointed towards you, but is that steering wheel on the right hand side, or on the left like trucks are over here in America? Just wondering!...🤔🤨😁🚛 2:30
good on you Lina facing your fear of the unknown ferry port, i was the same when i first did dover Calais on the baccy runs back in the day,it soon became old hat, likewise you will find once done never forgotton, quick tip get to the restraunant asap and get your grub first and then you can Chill out after you have been fed and watered and maybee even catch a few sights :) :)
Hi again Lena....You passed close by my home town, the seaside resort of "Llandudno" in North Wales. Hope the Ferry crossing was ok?. I took a Coach Tour across to Ireland in the late 1990s when i was a Coach Driver here, that has been my only trip their to date even though we are only around 50 miles from Holyhead.
Good morning Lina. Another fantastic video. Just catching up on video's as I have been away on holiday. Thanks again for the time and effort you put in. Take care ♥️♥️♥️
Years ago working in shopfitting and exhibitions, pre EU there were two types of customs carnet, a T2 and T2L, our office and documents department at Doulton generally did what suited them ,not the guys doing the jobs in Cannes, Amsterdam,Frankfurt etc. Nothing big just Transits and Luton vans, the carnet type we had for the Tax free world show cleared at Calais ,which is a port of entry, due to the M25 and M2 and ferry delays we were somewhat late, so I decided to clear customs in Cannes, which is a port. Coming back everything was late again,so it was about 23:00 hours at Calais, cold and raining heavily, the two customs officers, wearing capes werent happy that Cannes had cleared out paperwork , they came to check the back of the van, I gave them 200 cigarettes each that were freebies from the trade show, they slapped on the side of the van, ok msr, depart and off we went.
Another excellent video Lina, good on you for having a go at new challenges! I’d get so wound up not knowing what to expect!! Keep up the good work and keep safe! 😀🚛

Hi Lina. The haulage industry needs more gals like you. You still very much under represented. Don't know why. The Airline industry has its fair share of gals flying airliners. Dave
Hi I hope you are ok Lena if you have a room on the boat you will be able to shower have a great crossing please take care stay safe and I can't wait until your next video 🥰😘💋
Greetings from Scotland! Wouldn't it be great if all ferry terminals had the same conventions, so that you had an idea what you were supposed to do whatever port you were in around the UK? Nah, that would be too much to ask! AND what would you do for entertainment then? 😂😂
Hi Lina, you said Snowdon is the highest mountain in England, For your information Snowdon is in North Wales, please don't call North Wales England, just to put it in contrast that you will understand it's like saying Hungary is in Romania, I hope you liked the view along the A55 and all the North Wales coast. Regards from Ray in North Wales.
Great video Lina.Where in Ireland did you live and for how long?I’m from Manchester UK but now living in Castlebar County Mayo but I don’t half miss Manchester
Great video again. To me it seems that women from other countries are so much different than 🇺🇲 women and I will leave it at so I don't get in trouble. SAFE TRAVELS ❤️ 🚛💨💨💨💨
Great job Lina, it's been a long time since I travelled that crossing, Pembroke to Rosslare was my preferred route to visit family in county Cork. lovely video, thanks for sharing. TTFN
I do enjoy Lina's videos but I have found that as well and can hardly make out what she is saying a lot of the time. I did make the comment on a previous video that she needs to invest in a remote microphone - same as Luke C and Trucker Jenko.
I love the way you take it all in your stride Lina. You give me so much confidence as a returning driver after many years away, thank you. Keep posting the vlogs, you inspire old farts like myself as well as the youth.
I am looking into it put it that way her vlogs have given me insight - it was searching after I had the idea
Always seems relaxed

Hi Lina. The haulage industry needs more gals like you. You still very much under represented. Don't know why. The Airline industry has its fair share of gals flying airliners. Dave

Maybe it's because they are referred to as gals and not women?
