Turns out that Hard Candy was a really good album for Madonna. I was re-listening to it today and it had some really good songs. I think I'll change my mind about rebel heart in a couple of years..
Hard Candy was a GREAT ALBUM. Most people simply could not handle the abrupt shift in style from "Confessions" to the Hip Hop / Urban sound of Hard Candy. Personally that is one of the many things I admire about this woman. Her ability to change directions so effortlessly and getting into it 100%. No other music artist in history has been able to do this so many times and as successfully as Madonna.
I think the power of any of Madonna's songs lie in the fact that they grow on you. Some get instant recognition but the others, unreleased titles, others may describe as un-noteworthy, will haunt you and grow on you, and then you love it in the end.
quand j'ai vu cette prestation pour la 1ere fois j'ai vraiment aimé la chorégraphie, ton style et le rythme de la chanson qui m'a fait bouger , alors qu'à la sortie de la chanson je ne comprenais pas ce style de musique et c'est grâce à cette prestation que j'ai fini par y adhérer et savoir que c'est une chanson très cool et pas dépassé, parce que tu sais me faire adhérer à n'importe quel style de musique. .

Preach it, you need REAL skill to pull off some real Madonna dances. There are other examples that exceed this performance especially. Beyonce moves her body well, but I can't say it's better. I could say it looks easier...
I wasn't trying to put Beyonce down, she's a great dancer. I just think it's strange that she gets way too much praise for her dancing when I personally think Madonna did it better throughout her career. There were many different styles she's done. All I can say is, watch her Hard Candy and MDNA tours to know what I mean. I've seen Beyonce's Formation Tour and her Miss Carter tour and my opinion hasn't changed.
For real, Beyoncé has been dancing to the same moves for her old songs (of course new choreographies for new songs) but Madonna has re-invented her songs and moves for decades and making them fresh and well performed, true they are both incredible artists but there is only one Queen and that's Madonna

Yeah, flat shoes are comfortable to dance with. You're more free with movements I guess. No more holding back thinking about the risks if you misstep or something. And I love her too.
