Mad respect for trying different things. Its ridiculous how easily Markalite cannon can lose you the match. It hurt you more than it helped in almost every scenario.
Leader Mechagodzilla can come in handy at times because of his passive ability, which heals units near him and himself for 5 seconds and then gives them a shield that reduces damage taken. I say sometimes, because as I said, it only works when the units are close to it, otherwise if they are far away, the ability will not work, which is to help the pieces that have been deployed earlier during the counterattack. PS: nice video and nice deck, TS dragun 👍.
Whats important to note about MG74 lead is that the ability applies the buff and heals as long as the units are within the circle when used. Even Kiryu will get it mid flight if its over the area of effect but it does last outside of the circle so long as its applied within. The damage reduction is actually only 20%, not 80. It brings damage DOWN to 80% not by 80% if that makes more sense. So yes, they are taking less damage even outside the circle. Its just not as high as it sounds. Heal is a total of 30% max HP, 6% per second.
I see thanks for the info so the buff does work like how I assumed and they keep the buff the whole duration? As far as the heal goes I haven’t noticed it on units in my vid but i could be wrong
@@TSDragun Correct! You can see the shield icon on them as they are moving forward, thats the defense buff/damage reduction. There is a heal icon (heart I think) for the heal, but your units were at full health so thats why you didnt notice. It ended before they even got up to the enemy leader. There are some nasty pushes you can do with it, and when it hits late into OT its just busted.
@@TSDragun Oh and the damage reduction also lowers the damage from Kiryu's AZC and can heal enough to survive that and trains with ease. Just use it like KR's ability as his chest opens up to fire the beam.
You need to be careful when using MG74's Leader Ability due to it being being a defensive ability, but you can do really good strategies with it to create a "counter attack" push (or you can just use it to heal your leader) Train bomb is broken as always and Zetton just underperforms... I think Devs should buff Zetton's damage so you don't have to wait for him to get 3 bars to actually be able to kill Something And about Train Bomb... Idk maybe reduce the damage or make it not be able to hit Flyer Units

One of the things I have waited for with MG'74 is the badass music.
Same. The fact that they didn't add his theme to add the game is a crime. Let alone new music at all.
The combo of G01's debuff along with the MG74 special move shield is really great on Defense.
Zetton feels like the Giant Octopus equivalent of 4 stars. He needs a buff or something, because for 8 cost, he contributes absolutely nothing.

Zetton looks and sounds scary, but he shoots literal marshmallows.
G earth does pare well with mecha g 74 since it would be like a walking tank, on top of the buff mecha g can give it.
