Cool idea, I always find this channel really inspiring. Maybe it's unrelated to Supercollider, but have you ever tried other forms of programming audio? I've just gotten into making VST3 plugins today and it's very fun. Might be right up your alley :)
Yeah, I have written many SuperCollider UGens in C++ and standalone audio apps. One of my bigger DSP projects is a singing synthesizer that you can try out online at oddvoices.org/. I don't have a lot of use for VSTs personally since I only occasionally work in a DAW, but I may get into developing them in the future.
Really great demo showing what SuperCollider is capable of. I had no idea. Thank you!
Thanks for doing these vids. I'm learning heaps from them :)
Love the top lead at around 1:08, nice melody even if you say its too poppy for your tastes :D .
don't tell anyone, but I stole the first nine notes from an old string quartet, not sure who the composer was though
so good percs in there! Very good job.. Make a sample pack and I will buy it :)
Thanks! That's a fun idea, if I were to do it I'd want to make a "SynthDef pack" with both samples and source code.
@@synth_defI'd buy that!
Love IT 🎉
