I love that Greta has managed to make the only version of Little Women where people actually like Amy and want her to end up with Laurie. Hiring Florence Pugh was a bonus - she’s so darn likeable. Brilliant edit!

@@alaaye5237 Yeah he married Amy because, well, there was no other sister left and he wanted to be part of the March family 😂 do you know that Amy hardly ever appears in the sequels whereas Laurie keeps seeking Jo's company? I guess life must have been pretty boring with the love of his life 😂 Not even Alcott could come up with an interesting story with Amy in the picture. Loool

They’re so perfect and Timothee and Florence really caught their love so well. First time the book has justice
im actually quite upset that timothée was not nominated for an oscar. Tho he has already been nominated for one (not in 2020) i do believe that his performance was a incredible as Florence’s performance in which she didnt win in her category (not surprisingly but not what i had hoped for) as she two delivered an outstanding performance. Im very excited to see them in future movies and yes, oscars dont mean the world, but i hope there acting get the recognition it deserves.

I've always adored Amy. She is my favorite March sister. Laurie is clearly meant to be with her. As in most people's lives, when we're young we think we've fallen in love and that love will last forever only to later fall in love and realize the reason why most young love is nothing more than infatuation seen as more serious because you're too young to distinguish between platonic and romantic love. That's where this version truly shines because it takes every argument anyone has ever made against Amy & Laurie and it eliminates all of them. The way this version shows the difference between Laurie's relationships with the two plus the refusal of Greta Gerwing & Florence Pugh to portray Amy as a strong, ambitious, confident woman unapologetic that is determined to get what she wants in life is the way Amy should have always been how Amy and Amy & Laurie should have always been portrayed.

La pareja de Amy y Laurie no encaja. Él siempre estuvo enamorado de Jo, pero como lo rechazó, se quedó con Amy. Laurie quería pertenecer a la familia de cualquier forma.
Además, en esta versión, el actor que hizo de Laurie se ve como un niño al lado de la actriz que interpretó a Amy, quien se ve como una señora a su lado. Se supone que Amy es menor que Laurie y acá se ve demasiado mayor ella a su lado. Mala elección. No encajan. 🤷🏻♀️
Para decir que no encajan deberías leer los libros primero porque me encanta como todos dicen que él se quedó con ella por el rechazo de Jo y querer pertenecer a la familia cuando en los libros Laurie incluso se encuentra molesto consigo mismo por lo rápido que el amor hacia Jo se le desvaneció y se resiste a la idea de amar a Amy. Por favor que chiste.

A Jo, finalmente Laurie, se dio cuenta que la amo como hermana y por ese deseo de pertenecer a la familia. Amy desperto en el, el amor de un hombre a una mujer. Amy y Laurie son una pareja hermosa y su historia es hermosisima tambien.

I tend to agree. Matters of the heart are never easy but I wouldn’t pursue a relationship with someone my sister had been involved with. That’s just me, some people may be different or have different relationships with their siblings.
