    @PercMusicOnline This is definitely a Keiko Abe medley. Bits and pieces from "Marimba D'Amore" and a hint of "Frogs" I think (1:47). Marimba D'Amore is around 10-12 minutes long, so this must have been abridged for time constraints. I've played Marimba D'Amore but I haven't played Frogs... so I might be wrong on that part. Hope this helps.

    for the record, if it's DCI, it's not a marching band uniform, it's a corps uniform.

    I dont think most musically talented people are actually dumb. Just because some might not be good at history or science, it doesnt mean they arent intelligent. And if a lot of people who are really good at instruments don't do as good in school, it is probably because they put more time into their instrument than in school work.

    Wait, you do know that the "sports world" is more than just the NBA, NFL, and short distance track, right? Cause I'm looking at long distance running, baseball, hockey, soccer, equestrian, tennis, golf, rowing, gymnastics, figure skating, skiing, cycling, auto racing, lacrosse, martial arts, softball, volleyball, curling, fencing, bobsledding, luge, snowboarding, surfing, ping pong, diving, swimming, badminton, and archery and I have to say I don't quite see the same dominance you see.

  • @IIIIIawesIIIII

    I just said it sounds not good xD
    that it's hard to play doesn't have to mean it is a good tune. and the low tunes sound really wrong.
    (that's because of her marimba)
    and it's tactless, in which meter is it written?
    plaisir d'amour is originally written in 3/4, but what is that?

  • @Shadowkingman

    really the only main reason that musicians are "smarter" is because of the UIL's no pass no play so the kids have to do well in school ergo, they put forth effort and do stuff unlike kids that have no modivation.

    I know the original plaisir d'amour, but that isn't plaisir d'amour, even if she wants it to be plaisir d'amour.
    that's not good. it sounds amateurish.
    even if she's a pro, maybe it's because of the marimba. but the harmonics sound wrong, such as the beat of her play.
    and you're right, she doesn't seem to be very talented...

  • @vfrtist
    @vfrtist 17 років тому

    what do you mean technique doesn't mean anything? if you have no technique you can't play at all. . . iluvperkushun, go work on a hard piece incorrectly than fix your technique you'll see how much it counts.
