Thank you Arnold for this video, however in uganda here it much common for small companies that the directors like 2 of them happen to be share holders(owners of the company), and in such a scenario their income is exclusively from this company which income is subject to cooperate 30% tax. So do we still need a return in this case? Not forgetting the directors are still the share holders
Directors are employees of the company. If a director doubles as a shareholder, it means firstly, they earn employment income as directors, and this is subject to PAYE rates, and also secondly, they may earn dividend income as shareholders, which is subject to witholding tax

Like I said, directors earn employment income, subject to paye rates that could be either monthly or annualized.
