Hello! Thanks for all your videos they are so helpful! I have a question, maybe you can make a video on this because I think it involves a lot. I’m just starting out, I am in the creating phase, haven’t posted anything yet. I am trying to not spend money since I haven’t made money yet. But there seems to be expenses that are required like an Adobe membership, blog hosting, LLC, and then buying clip art and a mailing list service etc. What order would you take on these expenses in as a beginner? Thanks!!❤
Hi Carriel, depending on your grade and what you are making, you can get a lot of clipart for free. Make sure it has "commercial use" on it. Instead of Adobe, you can flatten and secure your pdfs with Canva (the free version works too). Focus on creating and getting your first 10-30 products uploaded, then you can decide about email and website stuff. Feel free to email me if you need more help.
I believe I saw that you don't recommend that teachers use your slides for Outschool...at least I saw it in the terms of use in this one or another slide. Can you elaborate as to why. It makes sense to me, but wanted someone else's take. Thanks.
I changed my Terms of Use a couple months ago after I talked to someone from Outschool. There are teacher-sellers who do not allow their products for Outschool.
@@ItsAllPrimary but do you know the reasoning? I talked to other teachers who mentioned licensing issues with cliparts and I certainly don't want other teachers to profit extensively out of my products especially if being sold multiple times. I just say not available for commercial use. Just wanted to hear your take on the reasons it's not a good idea. So you are currently selling to outschool teachers?
@@kidzkonnect2learn295 One of the reasons was that teachers were taking resources and selling them as courses, giving the impression that they were the owners of the content. When a teacher purchases a product, they are not the owner. You are the owner. Buyers are purchasing a licence. But also, this is considered "reselling" and breaks the Terms of Use of many clipart and font designers. My apologies for the late reply.
The free Adobe is simply a reader - as far as I know. I think some teacher-sellers create on Google Slides and save as jpg. However, if you are creating products, I don't know whether you can upload a product as a png or jpeg.
I've watched plenty of videos and this video gave me what I was looking for! Thank you
Hi Tameka, glad to be of help. Let me know if there is another video/tutorial you are looking for.

Can you make a video but using the flat pack?
Yes, still new to it myself but I can make a video on it. Thanks!
Super
Thank you!
Can the powerpoint be safe as png and secure the images? Is the free Adobe has those features?

What can be used to flatten tpt products other than adobe?
Good question - I suggest Bearwood Labs Flat Pak - costs $65 one time. They have it for both PC and Mac.
