How To Unstick Telescoped Tightly Stuck Fishing Pole Sections !

In this video, I explain how to unstick and loosen sections of a fishing pole that have telescoped (shot forward the wrong way and stuck fast).
The technique worked perfectly on 3 different telescoped sections on two different poles, so it clearly works well without damaging the sections.
You'll need a football or similar large ball (a cushion could possibly work too), a plastic jar lid or similar plastic item with flex, and a hammer, preferably a small lump hammer !

If your telescopic Flag pole gets stuck? Pour water down into the joint to loosen up, of the dirt and sand in the joint 👉👉 WORKS EVERY TIME! with a band jar opener to. Then hand tight only ! 👍👍

I used this procedure to unstick a a twist swimming pool pole when all other methods failed. I inserted a round wooden pole the same size diameter as the inter pole and hit it with a hammer to unstick it. Unfortunayely I do not know the size pf the wooden pole however I think most anything the same size would most likely work!

Did you use lubricant?

No mate, the reason being that they were so tightly stuck that I couldn't get any lubricant through the top by the joints as there was no real gap for it to penetrate between them.
I would've needed a lot of WD40 if spraying in from the other end (inside biggest section), so actually managed to do it 'dry'.
It's mainy the vibration that helps it to come free anyway, hence the football and plastic jar lid, as these both help to create sufficient vibration down the sections 👍
