GZDoom is vastly different than the original Doom source code, lots of changes and new additions to the code. It is 3D now and even has PBR support.

this is not Mario 64 anymore it's using Mario 64 as an engine only, everything else has been replaced lol

The creator of this ROMhack has Godot from Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations as his profile picture. That's funny because Godot deeply loves coffee, and you need to drink a lot of coffee to beat this ROMhack. Nice!

Interesting, but this is just a full-scratch game using the SM64 Decomp C library.
It's like calling Animal Crossing the Rom Hack of Zelda OoT.
You really shouldn't be talking out of your hind here.
This is a romhack that uses SM64 Decomp just like any other SM64 romhack nowadays.
LibSM64 is specifically to incorporate SM64 into other games/projects like Sonic Generations, Unity or Minecraft
@@CinnamonOwO they aren't way too off tbh. the PowerPoint itself is mostly the vanilla sm64 engine, but made to render to an auxiliary framebuffer. then the office itself is a custom written separate section of code that uses that auxiliary framebuffer as a texture for the projector screen. they operate mostly independently from each other, and though some rendering stuff is borrowed from the base sm64 engine, the rest of the office is essentially greenfield

This hack is interesting, but it would annoy the heck out of me. You have to go back to refill your coffee in the dark. Plus, people just take your coffee without asking and hold you back with their pointless conversations. If that doesn’t drive a player nuts, I don’t know what will.
You don't have to do it in the dark, you can turn on the lights.
