the last one though.. if you are in that situation please dont beat yourself up about it. you are clearly trying to find a way which isnt easy.
when i started i didnt have the money to buy a whole lot of new clothes. i didnt wear super revealing stuff before but stuff like short sleved shirts and tight jeans etc. so i bought two long thin jackets which i wore over the shortsleeve t shirts and long pants. and from then on whenever i bought something new i did so with the thought of does this fit the new standard that i chose. slowly but surely my clothes became wider and longer and i felt more and more comfortable. funnily enough i barely even wear those two jackets anymore that helped me so much in the beginning.
now after quite a few years my struggle about it seems so long gone that i almost forgot about it. hopefully for anyone else that has the struggle right now they can feel a bit of hope here.

I swearrr some of you guys on the muslim Tik tok stories be judging Muslims, No one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes and commit sins. At the end of the day remind yourself and think to yourself is this worth it , am I doing the right thing. Like although you are trying to advise someone, your doing it in a harsh wrong way. I can imagine the struggle 🥺 As a new hijabi I have some tips that helped me and maybe would help you as well: buy yourself just 2 jersey hijabs to begin with and wear them at home before you’ll be ready to go out with them. Wear long sleeve t-shirts and any kind of baggy jeans. I also started to only put my hair in a bun, so that I get used to not getting compliments on my hair. With the time you’ll add more modest pieces in your wardrobe, it’s the begging that is the most difficult part of that process. Wish you best of luck 🤗💕

Hi! I recently became a hijabi this summer (on Eid actually) Alhumdulilah and I had similar issues. My closet just was not ready especially for the hot summer. But what I did is I got a cotton turtleneck undershirt that covered everything and made it easier to wear all the clothes I already had. I wore it under my see-through shirts and half-sleeve shirts. This way I didn't have to buy a whole new closet and throw away all my clothing. Hopefully, with time, I can have only modest clothes. Also, consider lightweight jackets/covers.
And in terms of finding motivation, I found it really helpful to remember the real logic behind hijab and not just that Allah said to cover up. Think why is it useful? Why would God command this of me? Why is it beneficial? Islam is very logical and everything we are commanded to do really is for our own betterment. Remembering that really helps to stay on the straight path. Best of luck!

I just..mashallah. Through all these tears, you can see she truly fears Allah SBUH. Inshallah she does read the comments here and on tiktok and more because she seems in a really difficult position. Oversized stuff to atleast not reveal the shape of your body. Get used to that if you can. Shirts that are simply a size up. Abayas and dresses can come expensive, but also using what you have and layering things can make a revealing outfit modest. Try get comfortable at home wearing hijab, reach out to people who know how to wrap it and what fabrics to use, or use youtube. My inspiration to wear it outside is that I’m representing my faith, and well..someone got told they looked like a princess so I guess I’ve stuck to that a little. But videos all over the internet, listening to Quran even if I haven’t reached that surah yet, it’s all helped. Try doing other practices like eg. Reading Quran, trying to do five prayers, and just continue to ask for guidance. Allah is most gracious and most merciful. Imagine the kindest person, and then times that by too much. Allah will help you and we can also :]
