@@serpentinefire921 Lol. True. Fan filmed. I used my cellphone to record the video. I probably had it on the wrong setting. Believe me, I wished it would have turned out better. I don't own a iPhone or have professional recording equipment. You have to see these guys live to truly appreciate it. There is no comparison. They were great. I'm glad you got to go see them live in Las Vegas.
The way Chris Poland's hand dances on the neck of the guitar to the tone that makes him one of the most unique guitarists in history. Definitely one of the greatest guitarists of all-time, let alone in Megadeth.
Chris DID PLAY the opening lead. You can see him plainly playing it and agitating the Floyd bar while playing. The only part Chris missed was the slight feedback that didn’t come out of the amp. Chris does have amazing tone and it’s unmistakable when he plays!
Honestly, I don’t know why Dave doesn’t bring Chris Poland, Jeff Young, DaveE. on a tour. To me, Peace Sells is the best Deth album ever. I love most of the catalog, but I can remember staying up to watch HB Ball in 87 and seeing the video for Peace Sells & Wake Up Dead. Between that, Welcome to the Gutter & Indians I was turned out. Some of the greatest metal ever made and still is.
@@bigshoes806 And that's a bullshit, it would be so bad ass to see most of Megadeth players on stage with a great celebration, but Dave personal side it's bigger.
For those who doubted Jeff Young, there's a YT video (just audio) of them playing Good Mourning live back in '87. He absolutely kills it, very underrated guitarist. This was awesome, by the way.
Never in doubt. He wrote all the solos of ''So Far, So Good , So What'' in 2 weeks! Mustaine had no soloist & brought him in an emergency, otherwise he would loose his record deal.
First time I actually saw Chris trying to play the same thing as the studio version lol Great as away! C'mon guys now you can play some Rust In Peace stuff just to see how it is with Chris and Jeff!
Why did chris use Les Paul type(that doesn't have arm or whammy bar) for this one?? Arming is crucial for the great exquisition of microtonic subtelness, which makes this tune such phenomenal one. Mute-harmonics and volume technique, too...for that howling-like notes. And why was the tempo lowered??
With all due respect and after hearing some other songs with headphones, the band is sounding great especially Dave Ellefson, but the singer doesn't cut it for me, it must be very difficult to emulate Dave Mustaine both on the guitar and on the mic. Chris Poland has still got it.
I personally pick 'Good mourning'-that long lyrical and emotional intro part as one of the most brilliant Megadeth(or Chris') piece, while find latter part 'Black Friday' just a mediocre thrash number, even little bit boring.
Dave the dueche bag mustaine must be hating this,,no dought he probally feels like he being ripped off,,not the case,,these dudes were apart of these albums just as much as him
Deth Without Drama .
Chris Poland with that killer tone.
You know tone is good when you can hear the quality through a shit UA-cam video
Saw them here in Vegas last night the professionalism was through the roof.

Punches through
The guy is phenomenal
Wow! Chris Poland is still a fantastic guitar slinger!
Not gonna lie, I had to rewind that Chris Poland solo a couple of times... I love his solos.
Uh, that was Jeff Young playing that lead. He’s on the right. Chris is on the left playing rhythm.

I yelled out this request earlier & my prayers were answered
Devils Island is my favorite megadeth song, this is sick
One of megadeth best songs..never gets old.

Chris Jeff Dave Jr. amazing. Should call the band Back From Deth .
All of the early Megadeth songs are masterpieces.
Fuck yes!! And the godfather Chris MF Poland!!! So glad to see this, get your asses to Maryland please!!
These guys are much older but still shred like they did over 30 years ago! Same with Mustaine he's still a riff Beast!
Why isn't Chris Poland ranked as a god amongst others?
I love that you can hear Chris Poland's solo very well in this video! Thank you for sharing this!

I love Jeff going over to Chris at the end and just admiring like, "and that's how it's done!"
So cool to see Chris Poland playing again. Totally underrated. I was 10' away from him Boston, Paradise Theater, early 87, I think. I know
Insane. These guys are more Megadeth than the actual Megadeth band.

he doesnt even want to see David Ellefson in front of him right now, I dont think he would do something like that for now

@@bigshoes806 Maybe Marty is gonna be with the band in Japan for a special appearance, Dave called him to play Tornado. I hope it happen.
His ego couldn't handle it.
For me this is the best version of devils island i ever heard !
This band is pure fresh Thrash Metal at it's finest!.. but surprisingly I realize that singing like Dave is not so damn easy..lol
The first 2 Megadeth albums always had a left field dark Mercyful fate kinda feel to me, instrument wise. They remain my favorites.
I would love to get a studio album from "The Kings Of Thrash" with all these songs.
Sounds fucking great! Love the classic Megadeth!🤘🏻
Poland bestia

I’ve seen that video, Jeff rips!
Omg this is literally like being transported back to 1986!!!
Jeff and Chris having a moment at the end of this clip. Wow!
The guitars, bass, and drums sound really good! I hope they expand this tour, Peace Sells is my favorite Megadeth record.
All Hail MegaDeth!!!🤘

Jeff Young, the forgotten Megadeth guitarist. Wow, how rare this video will be someday!
I hope they play Good Mourning / Black Friday at the Minnesota show in February!
It's Great!!!! Excellent performance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would see this over Megadeth any day of the week. This is pure bad ass.

That Jeff young seems like a complete fruit loop in interviews I've seen but he is a great guitar player better than I expected.
