Damn i thought i was the only one not being able to beat it. This track feels like they just set a score which would work compared to the length of the run but without anyone (from devs) testing it lol.
Tokyo Expressway II Drift Course A is in ProStreet folklore of being one of the hardest tracks to break the record without cheesing it. Messing up the entry ruins the run. Messing up the slalom ruins the run. Straighting out on the final turn ruins the run.
try lower level tires and brakes on your drift builds, they are slower and MUCH easier to controll, also drive with manual and always try to countersteer and keep the gears high
my record on that track is over 13000 with drift points over 8000. it would be much easier to use a tuned 240sx or rx7. The rx7 is easier to score points but the 240sx is easier to control. tuning can be seen at this link ua-cam.com/video/HaGBIZhtFTs/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared. When drifting, maintain the drift as long as possible, don't let the drift point stop. that will make our drift points bigger than drifting then stopping then drifting again. hope it can be understood. forgive my bad english
Bro how i used the RX7 and the S15 (very good setups) but barely reach 4000 on my S15. There tracks like Ebisu and Mondello where i hit 9-10k drift points without grind.
My technique on this track is to hold handbrake and hold left on the steering at the end of the downhill turn, makes it so u have the perfect speed for the 90 degree turn after it
Welp, I somehow got that 3600 points on this track without reversing to finally defeat Ryo.The car was Lotus Elise, short and steady baby :)But I believe it was pure luck....
I won once using my own RX-7 but i cannot consider it as a win, because Aki Kimura uses the same car for it and i guess no point of purchasing a same car for a same event...
Yea i already had a hard time on this track with the 2003 Mustang, its gonna be alot more hellish with the Cuda. And why im using American Muscle cars for drifting? I have no idea.
I forgot that most people including myself had to use the 240 broken physics/exploit to beat that stage back in the day. Completely forgot about this until I played it recently and had to look it up. Then I was like oh yea the devs didnt bother play testing this stage 😂😂 cause no way the ai could drift the slalom cleanly to achieve the score of 3400. Then I remembered the 240 was broken and you can plow through the fences too to get an even bigger score lmao. I do respect your clean line though WITHOUT the 240 glitch. I got tired of trying it legit this time around and I just beat it with the GTO by just plowing through the fences lol. I refused the do the 240 glitch again, already did that 10+ years ago 😆😆
My hardest ones were the drift course with the Viper and these drift ones where thwy put you on a track with absolutely NO CORNERS. i swear these ones piss me off, how do you call that a drift event if there's no corners? do you want me to do arab drift or something?
Not without exploits and the correct line. You have to do the straight line drift glitch to get anything higher than 3500. You cna wall ride glitch too, lame as hell that devs didn't play test it enough.
Drift event with Ryo on this very track is the exact reason why I rage quit the game after nearly completed it. I was so done lol
Same I never got to beat him and I’m sad :((

Yeah... I can do 7-8k, but if i practice, i think i can reach 10k

4th gear on S15 is perfection

Hey, that's my tune 😁

I guess I'm the only one here realized that your supra livery are inspired by Supra from Street racing syndicate (SRS) game
ok now do it in the react team sessions gto
Surprised you're not using the cheese 240sx

Ha! I also like to use unconventional cars. '69 Charger is pretty dope drift car
you took dom's advice lol

those are easy once you figure it out, i got 4.5 k on that but i m stuck on this course
respect. especially because you were so bad xD. really impressive. big talent is grind
Tty it with the old mustang it is the vest drift car ik the game
use the RX-8 instead or RX-7
you'll have no problem .
i got 8000 points with zero damage.
the Supra isn't good on tight tracks like these
It's honestly the counter to the FD, I use one every playthrough I do.
Imma try the supra tomorrow, never used it for drift...
hell nah bruh just use stock AE86
I hate this track so much the 90° corners are bad and the straight in the middle is worse it ruins your rhythm
You use toyota for drfit !!???? Mazda rx7 or lotus sre only the best ehst score eassy 17.000
Proof? 240sx is the best car for drift
With all the respect , 3k is a very low score. I can do at least 7k ...
