this track sounds like it took inspiration from the band pure x. the simple, and elegant drums, floating - almost droning guitar and keys with a melancholic vocal melody riding the wave of instrumental bliss. julias music isnt shoegaze obviously, but this track carries some characteristics of shoegaze on its back. beautiful tunes - keep it up!

May be a bridge but it seems when Julia stands with a golden star after adjusting her dress and layering on mascara she is preparing to sell herself to the the stage i.e. the next person who will pick her up. The lyrics also betrays this inevitability. "It's just my life, it's my body". Despite liberating herself from her drug abusing boyfriend, she is still appeals to the listener to fill that void. When that falls it seems to lead her on her own path 🙂
