Placing a Statue Of Jesus While Creating The John Leone Reef

A 1000 + pound statue of Jesus was carefully placed 70 feet below the ocean surface during the creation of an artificial reef in memorial of John C. Leone.
The brief video shows how the marine habitat was constructed using recycled concrete. Over time the concrete structures will become encrusted with encrusting life such as coral and sponge which will create shelter and resources for a great diversity of marine life.
