Live footage of Wichers, Frenning and Ranta... this line-up was just ridiculous. Not a single dud in their discography at this point. Still very few even today, but this is Soilwork in their absolute prime for me. Thanks a million for uploading!
Peter Wichers and Ola Frenning wrote some memorable riffs, harmonies, and solos. The Chainheart Machine, A Predator’s Portrait, and Natural Born Chaos are all masterpiece albums. They are still good but the late 90s early 2000 Soilwork was amazing!
There is no “Speed at his best,” Speed will always continue to get better and better and better!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻 and Ola and Peter back speed up with the harmonies!!! AMAZING!!!
I dont know why but i was just thinking of this show and am glad its online on youtube. This show also had Killswitch Engage (1st singer) and Hypocrisy playing that night if i am not mistaken, i was at this show and it was a long time ago. Thanks for sharing!
George Reyes I went to this tour as well in Texas. Crazy thing about this tour is that Arch was supposed/rumored to be on this tour but they decided to do the Nile, Hate Eternal tour not to long after this tour. At that time Hypocrisy, Soilwork, and Arch Enemy were my favorite bands and I never would have thought that they would come to Texas....it would have been all those bands first time playing here. This will always be one of my favorite tours!
So fukn awesome, soilwork at its best!! We met them on this tour when they came to Corpus Christi TX, after the played they were really cool and surprised we new who they were, a momemt ill never forget. Rantas drumming style is still till this day a major influence. Was fortunate to get a signd drumstick after the show.
Yeah man, i completely fucked myself when they toured with Throwdown in 2007, i kick myself in the fucking ass every day knowing i missed a legendary era

🤘 best lineup ever
The best Soilwork lineup ever!!!
Man I miss the Peter Wichers era. They're still the best, don't get me wrong. That lineup was just magic.
+Josh Parsons +1

Peter had a very negative influence on the final Nevernore album. He encouraged Jeff Loomis to simplify everything.
I've realized one of the biggest aspects to what made the music so special: syncopation

Great tour. 2002 man. Early 2000s were prime years for metal.
I've seen the Killswitch Engage performance. 21 years later and both bands are very successful in both their respective genres.
