Haha OMG!! I met you guys at the Jerramungup Fuel Station and you mentioned how hectic the track was but this is next level!! Loved meeting you all, I was a little star struck at the time but thanks for the selfie, it really made my day seeing you parked there and chatting to you 😁🥰 Big congrats on the pregnancy, it’s wonderful news ❤❤
6:24 no dozers, mate. Those legends were out there on horses. They cut the Holland Track BY HAND, making sure it was wide enough for a horse drawn cart.
Loved how the Kombi kept churning forward albeit with a winch. A lot of 4WD's would've been at least as bad off. You're right though. You've got to know when to stop and consider your position. Congratulations on the good news and well done on the track.
Great episode guys. Can I just say we follow you guys because we love your journey and what you do. Dont make content for us, make it for yourselves and enjoy the journey. People will follow
That’s how we roll! We do it for ourselves but also for others as we love to inspire and show people what’s out there and what is possible. Thanks for following along ❤️👍🏻
Now that was entertaining! “ 35:56 We know this is a bad idea but Im doing it anyway”. Nek minit stuck. Best thing ever its way more better then just having a boring uneventful drive. Keep it up you 3 are gold.
Karsten you "wild man", a wise old man, (my dad), once told me when I was a kid, "boy you go looking for trouble, it'll find you every time!". I kinda think that's what happened there. And don't expect you'll be getting a Christmas card from the W.A. LandCruiser club this year. Props for having a go, but you've got a "preggers" Maxine to consider. Good to see you back in the Kombi, welcome back folks!
Congratulations ❤❤😊😊 just have fun, l know that smell of mud and the fun of driving thru it, but we had back up xx love you guys and your adventures 😊😊❤❤ Aussie Aussie oi oi
The Holland in a Combi? Hmmm, makes me wonder if we should try in with the Coaster? Maybe I'll re-think that by the time I have seen this whole episode :) Later: Yeah, I don't even think the Coaster would fit along some of those tracks. Interesting to see the track when it's dry. Everyone seems to drive it in the middle of winter.
Hey guys your baby news put a smile on all our faces. Been following your adventures for a while now. Guys .you 100% rock .love what your doing . Your videos have been amazing thank you for sharing your lives the highs and the Lowe's have all been wonderfully inspiring. Cheers and safe travels to all four of you 👍
By the way if you put a relay on the starter solenoid wire running a 20 amp plus feed from the main starter cable it will save you from having to crawl under and jump the starter solenoid.
@@KarstanAndMaxine When you use your maxtracks in muddy and or soft sand type conditions, I have found, that it is advisable to attach a few meters of rope to each one and lay that rope to the outside of the tracks, so as to make it easier to find them and then pull the tracks out, after you have used and buried them.
Congratulations! We did the Holland Track years ago with our youngens in the wet, we were supposed to do it again in 2022 but global events had other plans. We loved it, we might see you out there this winter.
Whoa that was so hectic, but great job and good that you stopped when you did. Can’t believe Zuri slept through the whole thing!! And hugest congratulations on the new bubba to be ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great vid, but Karstan, you were a bit cray cray driving through that fucken mud 😂 we were clenching every orifice 🤣🤣🤣 watching it, and a huge Congrats to you and Maxine and of course Zuzu, on the bub news 🎉
Hello from the road, I really hope we will bump into you one day we are close to Albany WA at the moment at the off road campsite and moving along with the wind the weather and not much planning...love your journey :)
Congratulations to you all, new baby is always a joy. But I didn't quite understand the mud thing, there was a dry track and a mud track so the choice was the mud? odd for me :)
Wow can't help but wonder what would happen if you hadn't had the wench or it quit. Quite Dangerous I think. What a video. Great Job Mud Dober !!! Ha :)
Congrats on your new addition to the family and another fun ep. Only the brave drive through mud and only the really brave know when to to turn around as its not safe to continue even when they want to....!! Looking forward to seeing the Oka this year
A very nice video. I admire the patience of the little mouse, so cute and sweet. Laugh Karsten, you sometimes look like a monitor lizard. Really great how you steer the Bulli through the shit, respect. Such a nice Unimog, right machine and the right tires to it, you would have more space and really comes through the worst dirt through. Best regards from Frankfurt, stay healthy and take good care of you all.
Firstly congratulations on the good news. I like the talk of long desert trips in the Kombi, she's been on some rough kms ,great to see the outback again
Karstan has awesome skills, looks at home under the Kombi, mud skills, average. Great news, baby coming, beast ready by winter, just in time for the new passenger. Keep "cruising"!
This Oka, the bigger it is the heavy it falls ie weight in mud. goes deeper, harder to extract. Also, like my MB Sprinter 4x4, height and bloody tree branches start to impact. Still, you'll work it out no doubt.😅 When you cut across to Alice next time, wander out to Castle rock - out past Gemtree roadhouse and fossick for garnets.
Congratulations I’m so happy for you all. My hubby and I are traveling with our cat in a campervan would love to run into you guys at some stage. Zu zu is adorable too ♥️
Well Karsten you should have taken the chicken track. Mud destroys vehicles, I guess you know that. A good episode though. Congratulations on the addition to the family.

@@KarstanAndMaxine Having the Oka will certainly be a game changer, cannot wait to see what you get up to, i am sure that it will be great
Great call guys. At the end of the day, there's no point going forward if you aren't 100% confident in your vehicle. Safety first, always!
