Excellent instructional and informative video-thank you for posting. Just completed install on my ‘23 Wildtrak with Aux switches. Most difficult part was running wires from driver side lamp to passenger. Once I got that done the rest was easy. Have seen where harness length is an issue for some-running the way I did (like you did) there is JUST enough wiring to meet up with aux switch wires (if you release the two you’ll use) and a ground screw on the back panel. I wired switches 5 (blue/orange to red) and 6 (yellow/orange to yellow) so my 5 turns on white fog and my 6 turns on amber. When both are on it’s amber but both colors and switches work independently as well. Thanks again-Mabett has great products but not much in way of instructions. Your video made it clear how to go about install start to finish and loved the suggestion to remove cover plates so the inside was flush and dressed well. They look great!
How did you get the harness all the way back to the wires for the AUX switches? The one that came in my order appears to be way too short. Running the wire between the two lights was easy, as was fishing it up into the engine bay. But, that's where I got stuck. The part of the harness with the two fuses was basically in line with the battery and, thus, would not reach far enough back to connect to the AUX wiring. I supposed I can just run some additional wiring, as I've seen some others do, but want to make sure I'm not missing something first.
@@brianvanderwoude6813 There only just enough in length to make it work but if you added 15” to the wiring it would be easy. That said there’s enough there to make it work. You just need to find the right path.
Make sure to not tie down until all wire is run; would have saved me some time. You can stretch the driver side up into bay quite a bit, giving additional length. I ran behind the headlight and next to battery/wall. Had NO slack but it did make it all way to aux wires, though the ground wire was taut. Hope that helps-
Great video. Considering these lights. Just want to confirm they are LED and if you are pleased with the light output? I like the dual beam as we get a fair bit of fog in Saint John NB.
They look, like they came with the vehicle. They work great. As for their output they aren’t going to be as bright as others lights like the square 4” LED’s I had there before but there is a noticeable difference when they are turned on. One switch for whites and the other for the ambers and it’s the perfect set up (for me at least). Good luck.
Thanks Paul / Kathy. Sorry for the Late Post. I am really behind on Videos from most of the ones I've subscribed to . Is your Lift out of level ?? Your Bronco was sitting driver side lower that the Right side ? Mike M.
Great instruction video...been looking for smaller fog lights for the Bronco and think these will work fine. One question; what type connectors do you use for attaching light wiring harness wires to aux switch wires? Thanks for the video and looking forward to more.
Hooking anything up to the Aux wires I always solder them and seal with waterproof heat shrink. Doing it that way makes a factory looking join with no chance of corrosion and a great waterproof connection.
Michael I decided on a Outer Banks with a 2.7 twin turbo. 4 door and every available option except the sway bar disconnect. I didn’t need the sway bar disconnect because that’s used for rock crawling and ours won’t be rock crawling. I went with the Outer Banks because it’s considered the luxury model of the bronco. It has the interior I liked the best, colour matching mirrors, painted grill. All the models in these Broncos start off the same but it’s the equipment you add is when the model name changes so I have a full equipped luxuryBronco with the Sasquatch package and everything that it could have. That’s how and why I chose mine. Thanks for watching.
Excellent video, I have the auxiliary switches in my bronco as well. What happens if I forget to turn the white lights off before I turn the amber lights on and I have both switches in the on position? Will that mess everything up?
Nothing will happen if you have both on at the same time other than using more amps because they are both on. Thanks for watching. They are great lights.
IF I want to run only Amber is there a way to hook only amber up? I don't want to occupy an aux switch for the white lights. I only want the lights to illuminate amber. Thanks for the vid big help.
Yes. Just run the yellow wire to 12 volt and black wire to ground or go to the Aux switch you want to use. Leave the red wire alone and don’t connect it to anything. Your welcome.
No issues here. I keep the driving lights full time and only use the ambers when needed. Got to Mabett on Facebook, ask Ryan if he can help with your issue. Good people to deal with.
Here is the link BUT I had to fabricate custom mounts to get it to fit the modular bumper. www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09DFKR3K8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks. Yes still got the GoldWings. We only got the Mustang out yesterday so the GoldWings will be next. We’ve been busy plus we have short riding season here. Ride safe.
I have a Big bend Sas without Aux. I had OE fogs and switched to a Mod bumper. Will it be plug and play? I have the fog option button on the bottom left of the steering wheel. Thanks!
No. These lights have two modes. One mode is all white, the other is all amber. I have the aux switches but also the 6 Auxbeam gang switches. The like the Auxbeam the best, easy to hook up and a very neat install. That’s how I would do it.
So you said red wire goes to one switch and yellow wire goes to another switch, could both switches be turned on the same time or could there be a problem? Just curious
Yes I said that but I also said to use only one at a time. Having two on will create double the heat and yes double the energy while producing no difference in lumen’s
You’d need to check your regional laws. Up here in Canada there’s no issues with them but I do have them aimed down. One needs to be responsible for their equipment.

The Tip about the TP40 was very helpful

Thank you. Have a great day!
Good job looks very nice enjoyed watching take care
Have a great weekend Tom.

Could you do a follow-up video for how these lights throw off their light in the dark?
I will. Good suggestion 👍

Any update on your experience running these? We also installed them about 7 months ago and now have a problem with a failure in one light assembly.
No issues here. I keep the driving lights full time and only use the ambers when needed. Got to Mabett on Facebook, ask Ryan if he can help with your issue. Good people to deal with.
I'm going to order these right away! Could you tell me what brand that bumper light bar is?

Are these street legal or off road only?
