Steaming my hair is a game changer for me. It doesn’t get as dry. After washing my hair I put my homemade leave-in cover with a plastic cap and put on low heat for 15 minutes. I dry my hair without the plastic bag on cool setting.

Thanks for commenting. Do you mind sharing what you use to condition?

Not at all, no gatekeeping with me. It’s a herbal tea concoction. I used distilled water, couple rosemary springs, lavender springs, onion or onion peels, couple sticks of cinnamon, fenugreek seeds and 1 tea bag of green tea. Boil to hail the volume of water, let steep overnight. Add a couple drops of essential oil-I use basil oil. I refrigerate this for 14 days and use it after I wash my locs. I know it sounds like a lot but it’s really not.

Hi friend, thank you so much for addressing my question and taking the time to produce this amazing video. Your hair is so beautiful. Your growth is spectacular. I'm so proud of you, your journey is a true inspiration. I think I should introduce some steam to my journey. Happy New Year in advance!❤

Awe thank you so much! It was enjoyable to make 🌺. Please do a video if you decide to steam. This was my 1st attempt. Id like to know what you thought about it. Please, you and your family stay safe through the New Year 🙏🏽.

Bey beautiful. Your locs are looking good. Never seen the tea tree lemon sage leave in conditioner. Thanks for sharing. I’ll look on Amazon as you suggested. I know it smells so good.

Thank you ☺️. Yes, the spray is on Amazon and I also have found in my local beauty supply store.

Hey girl! Looks great! The root enhancer is available on Amazon, when in stock. Love the pineapple idea, I’m sure it helps with lint as well especially in the wintertime.

Thank you Liv! I will try to find the root enhancer when I run out. It does help a lot with lint as well. And thanks for the suave shampoo tip! 🥰

@@mazznaturals thank you! Question for you. Which steamer type do you prefer? I really like the one you used but I couldn’t find that one. Also, does steaming seem to make your locs softer? I would like that. Ive only used once so far.

@@ebtheauthorAwww yes I love my hand held one. Steaming is so good for our Locs. However I try not to do it too much as it makes my ends unravel. You might be alright as you have sisterlocs as I’m sure your ends are quite secure. Steaming definitely makes the hair softer.

Hi there! Thanks for watching! I believe from the beauty supply store or Walmart. Its like a stretchy band but it can be opened or closed. Ill try to find a link somewhere

Try Googling “adjustable hair tie”. It appears on Temu. Hope that helps!
