I'm curry, an ex professional valorant player who has previously played for teams such as C9 Valorant and T1 Valorant. I have also peaked rank one radiant in the Valorant ranked leaderboards many times. I'm challenging myself by taking an unranked account to radiant in the shortest time possible on every single role. I already finished Initiator to Radiant, Controller to Radiant, Sentinel to Radiant and the Duelist to Radiant challenges. Now it's time for me to travel to Europe and try to get Radiant as fast as I possibly can. 2 things I want on this map
1. Easier retake potential on sites
2. Why not a 3 sites map? Like Lotus and Haven, It’s too big for a 2 sited map, not to mention mid is way too large.
I loved the map when it first came out, but now playing it in ranked. I see the problems now

@@user-gn4rd8xn5f It might make it slightly defender sided and in addition of making the sites easier to retake (like what I suggested on the top) making it a 3 sited makes the attackers have to guess which site is the weak one while the defenders can gain an advantage to doing 2-1-2 spread or a 2-2-1 Spread depending on circumstances

Sova is INSANELY strong on this map. You can dart anywhere on the ceiling for clearing mid or you can drone. And for both sites, they have a long beam that runs across the top of the site which can be darted to reveal the entire site which is useful for both offense and defense. Alternatively on defense, the top of the choke points can be darted easily. Also not to mention with how big this map is, it’s very easy to play his ult in post plant without fearing them running up on you mid ult

It's got the icebox syndrome (peeking one angle leaves you open to 9 others) plus a pretty coin flip mid for both sides (theres 2 angles to hold if lurking, 3 if door). It's got the lotus long rotate times but with less sites. Retake sucks, B site for attack is a death trap without gekko so everyone goes A 70% of the time.

The map feels so awkward to play. It feels like the only way to consistently succeed is constant flanks mid to late round thru mid
abyss is just a bad map imo, the entire mid structure is ass, the little vent corridor thing in mid is ass, retaking A site is ass

This map is good for Cypher Mains, I am not a Cypher Main but I prefer to play Cypher on it, makes life a bit easier.

how are you supposed to play when you are hitstunned? do you just ajust and shoot or try to strafe

Seeing people have a lot of trouble with the map so I’ll say this, double smokes makes this map feel immensely easier. If not then you can run single smoke viper and you’re still perfectly fine on executes and her util covers all the map on defense. This isn’t a single controller or dome controller map
